“Ordered flowers for Mother’s Day yesterday. Received an email today (no phone call) to tell me that my order was being cancelled and the money refunded. They didn’t even get that right - the email is addressed to an Abigail (my name’s Mark!).
The reason for the cancellation? My mother lives in Northern Ireland.... which to the best of my knowledge is still part of the United Kingdom!
This was known at the time of order and I was allowed to set a delivery date of Friday 29th March and paid my money in good faith. Now they’re saying they can’t fulfil the order as the flowers wouldn’t arrive in time. They’re instead redirecting me to the Republic of Ireland website and telling me how I should have placed my order there as an international order. I ordered it on their arenaflowers.com website which boasts about how thousands are using that every week to have flowers delivered ACROSS the UK. Seems that only applies if you live in England, Scotland or Wales!

We can see that the email we have sent you, was addressed to yourself, however further down it mentioned Abigail. We are very sorry about that. Unfortunately we do not offer deliveries directly from our warehouse here in Milton Keynes to be delivered to Northern Ireland as the flowers would be too long in transit. We have mentioned that on our website under our delivery information which is directly under our product discription. We are very sorry it was not as clear and please accept our sincerest apologies once again. As we are planning to change our website soon, we will definitely pass your feedback on to have this issue prevented from happening again in the future.
