Have used for 20 months. First 10, it was just above minimum viable product status. Then the shot tracking improved, as did the app experience (for example, it was easier to adjust incorrect shot locations). But the customer service is not up to par, pardon the pun. My link just stopped working recently — while I’m still paying a pricey annual subscription— and all the company would do was offer a 20% discount on another one. I didn’t break it. So the rest of my subscription is a waste. Not good enough. On that, I’m not sure they are adhering to Australian consumer law tbh. Also, watch for sneaky auto renews. No warning that the payment is coming out.

Bit disappointed as before buying product I checked whether my club was available on App, which apparently it was. However it is about two years out of date, the holes are in completely the wrong order, randomly too. This although not ideal but if you change whole your playing, it works. However the greens are also not in the right place, what is now hole 9 the app says green is in the rough so registers 200 foot puts. E-mailed them 5 days ago as it is obviously not recording correct data, still not reply, tried calling their US number but as they have such high volumes of calls they have switched off phone lines this week?????? How does that make sense? However tried it on another local club and the data and distances were excellent to be fair.

The product works just OK. Many many incorrect swings and hits. In addition, I had not used the service for over two years had no idea it auto renewed. The day it renewed again I emailed to cancel it and was told they don’t give refunds. I explained to them that it was literally that day and had not used it in years, but they really didn’t care. Just FYI.

Poor product. Difficult to use. Does not record all shots therefore your scores are wrong and the data you get is flawed. They tell you that you can edit your scores but when you do it fails to save the edits. Don't waste your money.

It’s an ok product. Would be great if captured more than about 75% of shots. I wish I was as good as the scores it suggests I have. Good stats that are helpful. Just wish they were accurate. Have used with cell phone, with the belt clip and with Apple Watch.

The problem is after I bought my sensors you changed the way they attach and now I can’t buy one more sensor for a 4th wedge I have that isn’t always in the bag.

I've had a subscription for more than a couple of years, most recently renewing in August 2023. Since that time, the performance of the product has degraded to a point where it's nearly unusable. The product reported drives of 400 yards (obviously missing an approach shot), several holes in one (I've never had one) and even reporting shots from clubs that I never took out of the golf bag that day. I found myself having to make so many adjustments, it wasn't worth the trouble. Finally, when I told Arccos that I wanted to cancel, they removed the auto-renew but told me I had to fulfill the rest of the subscription. I am not using the product any longer, so I have paid for six months of a service that has no value to me.

If you head to the clubs section of the app, you are able to run diagnostics on all of your sensors. I had been a fan of Arccos having been a customer for a season and a half, recording nearly 4,000 shots. With that said I am choosing not to be a customer in the coming season. When my subscription was being renewed, it was linked to an expired card. While trying to update my card I reached out to starter@arccosgolf.com and rather than answering my question and walking through the solution, they decided to cancel my subscription and asked me to resubscribe. The problem with this is, when I was getting the error through apple pay saying the charge was $120, which I provided to the help staff, they said I need to pay an increased rate of $155. I understand that the price of the service needed to increase. I have no issue with a business doing business, the issue I had was the unauthorized cancelling of my subscription and asking me to pay a greater amount that what I had been promised. The data is very useful and they are doing great to grow the game of golf but sadly, unless they can make this situation right to me, I will be going into the 2023 season without them.

It was exciting to see the product video, and I purchased and used the sensors, the smartlink, and app for 1 year, with free membership. Total cost about $250. You can expect to have an poor to average experience with this product. Here's some detail. 1. Sensors - they have 2 year warranty and replacements are shipped free. Their customer service is very prompt. However, I needed to change 7 of the 14 sensors in the first 10 months. So their quality is not good at all. 2. App - The phone app is not designed well, as drains the battery within 3 hours, while my phone usually lasts over 1 day without recharging. It takes a long time to respond to clicking on different rounds to check scores. It does not recalculate numbers after you fix the mistakes made by smartlink system (eg when you used an iron, but it did not pick up the stroke, and your drive shows you hit 350 yards) 3. Smartlink - it picks up 70% of the shots, and it is frustrating to keep correcting it by adding shots while trying to focus on the game. It also has outdated info on some courses, so you can end up the wrong distances if you rely on it. I played over 30 courses. Sometimes when you correct the score, it will go back and reverse it, even if you clearly finished the hole and went to the next one. The fact that the sensors stop working sometimes, causes the smartlink to keep scoring wrong, and it is not worth it. 4. Customer service is very prompt and good. 5. Overall, the sensors are below average, as they stop working within 3-4 months, and the smartlink often messes up, so you cannot focus on the game if you look at the app. And, afterwards, it is impossible to keep correcting all the errors in the shots and scores.

Arccos continues to miss multiple shots during each round and the app is difficult to use to edit/add shots. If this continues, I won't be renewing my subscription.

Constant monitoring required after each hole to correct missed shots or to input ALL shots on a hole that Arccos failed to pick up. Love the concept and data. Inputting all the info to ensure correct info is a pain in the butt. Need to improve shot detection. Tried the link to see if that improved but NOT. Sent it back got refund. I really like the data and keeping track of my performance but gathering all the data and shots Has To Be More Seamless and not require so much intervention during the round.

Promising technology but currently requires a lot more work than I anticipated. Missed shots plagued my experience. Having to go back into the app and spend time adjusting shots and adding shots I feel defeats the purpose of the entire system. I found myself keeping score on my scorecard with my own stats so I could go back in and correct the app. Double work essentially. I just started using another app to input my scores and states that cost considerably less and didn’t require all the equipment. Putter sensor never pickup the right amount of strokes. Other all a mediocre experience and a lot of money spent on useless clips and sensors. I really wanted it to work, it just became more of a distraction during my round. Also, the caddies recommendations were always wrong. I would recommend just keeping your score on a score card and setting it up to keep relevant stats, then input those in a decent scoring tracking app to maintain your stats. Cheaper and provides the same level of detail without all the double work. I’m not a fan of using a phone to track stats during the round. I’m trying to get away from technology while golfing not dressed in it.

Gave up on grips after a few months as many missed shots and my winter course not properly mapped; for example, the map of the last hole displayed the green in the car park! Editing on the fly difficult and unsatisfactory. Best thing was using the phone for plays as if yardages. Very useful. Trouble is that Golfpad provide that information for £25-£30 a year subscription so now use that Android app. Hopefully, software will improve in future as real potential.

The twist in sensors miss lots of shots. If you live in a place where you get winter don’t even bother, you can only get a year subscription. Why not offer a month by month or 6 month option? Also the customer service is bad.

This product has a lot of promise but unfortunately it just doesn't deliver. I'm really very disappointed and quite sad about this. I really think I would love this system if they could just give up on the automated shot detection or at least augment it with the ability to manually touch a button on my watch to indicate that a shot was just taken. I've played about 10 rounds now using the Arccos system and I'm cancelling my trial subscription and just can't recommend it to people. They biggest problem is that it misses too many shots and almost all of my putts. The sad part is that there would be a very simple solution to this problem. When I pull a club from my bag, the app could just present me with a button that allows me to indicate that I am taking a shot from the current location. This could be done for all shots and all putts. My understanding is that the very early version of this system did exactly that. You wore a small device on your belt. You pulled your club, tapped it to the device on your belt and it recorded the location and club. Something like this that requires or at least allows for a small bit of manual intervention would go a long way to making this system useable. As it is it's not really useful because after each round it requires about 15+ minutes to go in and add shots and adjust locations of shots. Some additional problems: - My home course is not properly mapped. Some bunkers are missing and others are in the wrong location. - The app on iOS/Apple watch is really buggy and poorly done. Some examples: o when I tell it I am starting on a hole other than 1 or 10 because of a shotgun start, it won't stick with that hole o you can't zoom in enough on a hole to properly add a location of your shot o many times I haven't been able to get it to ask me to mark the location of the pin o several times after marking the location of the pin, it still asks me to mark the location of the pin - I can't seem to find an option for a monthly subscription, or anything shorter than a full year. I live in Canada and can only golf for about 6 months. It wouldn't be so bad but the price of a yearly subscription is just too high given all the problems this system has. - Due to the problems with missed shots and putts and a poor app, I spent far too much time trying to get the buggy system to work. This is distracting for me and to a fair extent my playing partners.

I’m having trouble editing my shots. On Friday it showed me with 1 stroke 5 holes in a row. The only way I could add strokes was by adding putts. Very frustrating. I’m ready to delete my history but I can’t figure out how to do it ☹️☹️☹️

I used Arccos for about 5 months using an iPhone 12. The app missed a number of shots that I was spending too much time after each round modifying the round on the app. During rounds I was worrying too much about whether shots were being captured than on my game. Be careful when you get the free trial. If you forget to cancel, your credit card will be charged at the end of the trial.

Firstly I would like to say that I love using Arccos and have done so for a number of years, however, I feel let down by Arccos as after purchasing new Cobra Clubs to use with my current subscription. The clubs come with a QR Code to redeem your sensors, however, this is only available to new members and was told by customer service that as a subscriber I would need to purchase the sensors required. I would think that they should be available to subscribing members without having to purchase them separately.

1. paring with the Apple Watch is buggy. sometimes it works sometimes it doesn't. I don't really want to use it without the watch. 2.Rather than making a golfer figure out the position of the pin placement there should be a button to click when standing next to the pin to set pin position. putting stats are not accurate with out identifying where the pin is. 3. until it is truly to the point where editing and monitoring is not required during the round it takes away from the game while you are playing.. it is nice to see stats after the round but not a the cost of not fully enjoying the round. especially putting. 4. subscription cost is high compared to alternatives with similar value. Still trying to decide whether or not to continue using.
