“I deeply regret having to scale my rating down to 4. This is in no way a reflection of the personnel I have dealt with over the last couple of years; on the contrary they have been friendly professionalism personified. I was however, disappointed that my policy, renewed without problem the previous year, had been allowed to lapse because the brokers were apparently not able to contact me, despite having all my correct contact details. This could have ended very badly and, in that case, probably not without litigation; imagine if your property, that you believed to be insured, had burned down! Fortunately, all's well that ends well and the property is now covered again through Alternative Insurance; what's more I saved 6 month's premiums! I shall be renewing next year - provided I am contacted in time.”
