“Recently I decided to change my piano, and after reviewing a number of models, I decided on the CVP701. Allegro Music came up with the best price offer on the Web. I contacted Allegro Music, and was advised that one had just been sold, and the other piano available was in the process of being sold; they were just awaiting finance clearance, and I was told that if I wanted it, then I’d better act quickly as new stock of the CVP701 would be sold at a much higher price! Today I have gone to put a review on the Allegro Music website, and have noticed that the same piano is still available and at the same price; I feel rather aggrieved that I have been given ‘sales patter’ just to pressurise me into making a decision very quickly, and I feel that this has rather tainted my dealings with Allegro Music. My details were passed to the delivery firm and the piano was delivered quickly; although when they contacted me on the day they were unable to even give me a rough time for delivery, so I had to wait in all day. So would I recommend Allegro Music? Apart from the high pressure sales technique, contact with the company was fine and the piano was cheaper than anywhere else. I am happy with the sound of the piano, although I’m missing 2 screws that hold the headphone clip in place.”

“I visited their Westcliff shop (August 18) to purchase a ukulele. The staff couldn't have been more pleasant and helpful. They were happy to spend time helping me make my choice and demonstrating the numerous different options to a complete novice like me. And their prices match any you see elsewhere so I came away a very satisfied customer. Thank you Jack.”

“Bought the Casio CTK-6200 Keyboard Deluxe Bundle, great price for the package and it arrived next day in perfect condition. I give this 5 stars because I can't fault anything. It was easy to purchase on the website and I received a confirmation email to say when my delivery was due, it was that simple. Allegro Music haven't requested that I leave a review but I felt I had to because I am one very satisfied customer.”

“DO NOT ORDER FROM ALLEGRO MUSIC! We ordered a guitar from Allegro music back in February for my sons birthday in March. The guitar ordered was in stock on the Allegro website. Once the order was placed we were informed that the guitar was actually out of stock but it would be ordered for us. Anyway this is a long story which I will summarise- delay after delay with no communication then it was held in customs but would be straight to Allegro once cleared, then it was actually going to a UK supplier before going to Allegro, then some more delays. It cleared customs and was due to arrive at supplier by the end of the week, 2 weeks later and it still had not been received by supplier. 5 months later my son still has no birthday present and we finally cancelled the order. Allegro music is a company that will blame manufacturers, customs, supply companies and delivery companies but will accept no responsibility for what could have been prevented by an up to date website, and regular communication. Don’t use them. We have now ordered a guitar from Thomann with the high customer service you would expect from a sales company, guitar is due for delivery in 3 days. Angry Parents! Disappointed but very patient 12 year old!”
