just found out my mother has been cold called over the years to upgrade her contract, she's paying way over the odds for what she's getting and locked in for three years too. i called on her behalf and got absolutley no help from them despite me explaining she's elderly and has no idea what she's doing. (she thought she was on a monthly contract)

I'm sorry to hear this however when reducing costs and providing better value does often mean extending your term. Please call in to our customer service team and we can see if we can further help you. Thanks Aerial

Would give negative stars if I could. I'm autistic and only found out today that Myo2 wasn't working because I have a business account with Aerial Direct? The O2 worker on the phone commented about how "shaken" I sounded to find out. Contrastingly when put through to aerial direct, my frustration from the last 8 months bubbled over and I was in tears. All my safeguards, put in place with o2 for my additional needs weren't there suddenly after, what I believed, was a renewed contract with o2 - directly. The manager I spoke to was rude and horrible, threatening and demeaning. Telling me he was raising this as a "high level complaint" but teasing/threatening that if I was on a higher contract previously that I would be put back onto that & that I would be stuck with that. Telling me that Aerial Direct, "can do anything," where according to him I, "want to go back to the consumer market where I will be set with a fixed contract." Telephone companies have a *legal* obligation and duty of care owed to their customers. If paying your phone bill is contributing to financial hardship and they do nothing after you have made them aware, then that's a breach of their duty of care. By LAW they have to help you. (I am a law student in Oxford but I still DO have a disability and noteworthy difficulties frequently.) I don't understand the relationship between Aerial and O2, as I can't do basic things, like change my address, when I phone up o2. I have to go to a 3rd party company - the manager got really angry & raised his voice at me, when I said this, saying that they WERE O2. Right after O2 confirmed that they were different and that I was contracted to them. As a vulnerable and autistic individual... this was my experience. I will be reporting this to the telecoms ombudsman as this is grossly erring and not right. Those threats were pressure tactics being used on an upset autistic individual to try and avoid the process of putting them back directly with o2.

THEY HIDE BEHIND O2 !! Absolutely terrible experience!! All the previous reviews’ stating about being tricked into 24 months contracts are true !! I feel like I was hijacked from 02 by This Ariel Direct Company who no one at 02 knows about Claiming that I agreed to a business contact that I neither remember or needed !! Days spent on the phone this issue is still unresolved! I could rant all day! AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!

Dont expect any sort of support or assistance when things go wrong. Calls are not returned and staff are brash and rude.

Pushy sales, poor value, charges after leaving out of contract. I would advise anyone to ignore their calls and stick with short period standard contracts from carriers.

Avoid. Hard aggressive sales techniques. Do not agree anything over the phone with them.

Dont get involved with them. I have been left with 2 massive O2 contracts which I apparently agreed to over the phone and when I asked for recording of conversation I was repeatedly sent a dead link. My signal has disappeared entirely at my home address and thier suggestion was to use a boost box which relies on and drains my VODAFONE wi-fi. After numerous complaints and exhausting all avenues and even an apology it turns out they are powerless to cancel my contract only 02 can (but wont). Might as well cut out the middle man and deal direct with service provider would be my advice to anyone thinking of going with ariel direct.

If only zero stars were available. Mis sold in first place and still attempting to get out of a contract that was first signed seven years ago. No billing offered, no portal or paper bills sent. Working from home set up is farcical at times going off the people I've spoken to, but the fact that 2GB of data is near £24 should have you running for the hills if the other stuff didn't. Awful.
