AVOID AT all Cost I have been trying to contact them for Renewal/cancellation of my policy, wasted 20 mins on Chat they dint help, no one is picking up the phone. no reply on email as well. Insurance cancellation should be easy, they should send the NCB straightway.

Cowboys, still waiting for a refund, cooling off period. Phone calls have been ended due to closing. Spent hours on the phone for it to go dead. Happy enough to take money, won’t refund. Will be getting solicitors involved.

They’ve taken £480 from my account 3 days before the renewal is due! 40 minutes hold time to eventually speak to someone who wasn’t interested. Have requested a refund and will take my business elsewhere for a better level of cover and over £100 cheaper!

My 18 year old daughter insured her first car with them and got quoted £2327 which we paid straight away. Two months later the car failed the mot so we decided to scrap it as was going to cost more than what it was worth. Brought a new car and asked them to transfer the policy which they refused and wanted an extra £5000 which we simply do not have. Was told by their own customer service advisor to go to another insurance company as the person who deals with our particular insurance company was on holiday! We did indeed go to another insurance company who insured her for less than their original price and spread payments over 12 months interest free. Asked for some money back as she was only insured for 2 months with them and we had paid a year upfront. They charged me £957.23 just to unsure her for that period which is over 40% of the total policy. On top of that you will wait hours to get through to them and they will push you pillar to post. Day light robbers and at least Dick Turpin wore a mask! AVOID AVOID AVOID

My daughters smart box insurance was cancelled 1 day after her cooling off period saying that she was doing 76 in 60. The back road they said she was doing 76 it’s almost impossible to do without being chucked off the road due to dips and curves, I have an AMG and I tried it, it’s almost impossible, especially for a new driver and 1.1 Clio! They said to keep her insurance active they wanted another £1000, she declined. 1 months of insurance cost her £800 as they refused to refund the whole year due to admin cost blah blah. She now has to declare her cancelled insurance. Luckily Admiral insurance was aware of the issue with Adrian Flux and insured her cheaper than them. She now has been driving with a black box for 6 months no issues. Stay clear, please! Just read the reviews, it says it all.

They offer the best prices but then try and catch you out with added cost, admin fees and cancelations costs. My quote was close to £300 which i paid. This then doubled to around £600 because they said i failed to tell them about a claim (which i DID tell them about when i filled in the forms). They then told me on the phone (after i had already paid a week ago, then agreed to pay £600) that they couldn't insure me because i didnt have a tracker. They then charged me £75 cancelation fee for this, although it was them telling me they can no longer insure me!

Adrian Flux, what are you doing? I bought a policy online for £579. I missed stating a four year old at fault accident that with costs of only £1500. not intentional, just thought it was longer than 5 years ago, but was in-fact only 4 years, I then had to pay an additional £323 which included £35 admin fee, this in my mind was extortionate but paid as I needed cover that day. I have now moved 6 months into the policy and they want an additional £203 inc. £35 admin fee to change my address..... my car insurance gave me a refund as i am in a cheaper insurance area.... but not Adrian Flux.... already paid £902 so now want to see what refund i would get if i cancel now as its should be pretty much in line with the cost of what i can get a policy at.... but no they are only willing to refund £266.... this is Theft pure and simple. going to review thoroughly your T&C's where i agreed to the theft with "New business fees" and "your fees" and "commission" and if not stated as per you have informed me, I definitely am going to be raising a Small claims petition. please stay away from these cowboys, should have told them to shove it when they wanted the additional £323 originally...... Update 1: they have given me an itemised cancellation statement, however the charge i was disputing was the additional £203 as this was extortionate and unjustified for a change of address into a cheaper insurance area, they have included this in the refund calculation even though i disputed. but even so, this charge is in full and has not been refunded Pro-Rata... I am on hold again to them now, but I will be pursuing this as its not even been refunded pro-rata since the change was made, but i did not accept this charge. Update 2: They will not remove this charge and apply the refund for the correct amount, i was expecting circa £460 total refund. They stated the7y would refund their commission on that £203 charge only which amounts to £69, I have refused and will instead raise a petition to the small claims court, obviously my administration charges for doing so are also expensive and will be included in the petition with my hourly charge for waiting on hold etc.. also included in the overall charge in the petition.

Worst company not sure they are still operating, tried to insure different vehicles with them, but they come back with a double priced quote or they advertise insurance services which won’t be offering when you ask for. Totally incompetent. Stay away please

The worst insurance company I ever dealt with. We insured our campervan with them and they gave us such a "ride" we had to cancel after 7 days. Constant messages and letters demanding extra paperwork and hidden fees. Looks like the cheapest but at the end turned out most expensive. We paid for the whole year in advance, after 7 days we had £68 back...and nervous breakdown for free. I would not recommend to anyone.

I insured my van with adrian flux and was asked for my no claimes and milage. I forwarded my no claims from email off last insurer and told someone over phone my milage. I asked if they needed anything else. They said no. That was in march. On saturday out the blue my insurance was cancelled. Looking back i did get an email saying they could not open my attachment, i missed it. That was it. Now i have a cancelled insurance and it will up my preiums and they want nearly double to be paid again to be insured. Minimal warning and no understanding. Avoid.

Stuck on hold for 15 minutes before anyone spoke to me, not a good sign. No refund given on cancellation of car insurance policy even though I asked about this when I took it out. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY!

Very high hidden charges if you decide to cancel the insurance. We had to do it as we sold the vehicle and the insurance was no longer needed. They started threatening us with debt collectors. Avoid that company!

Very poor customer service. Took over a week to register a claim. It took over one hour to get through to someone in the claims team to only be bounced around and left on hold again and again. When I finally registered my claim the details weren't passed on to my insurance provider (these guys are the middle man). Took 9 weeks for them to pay out on my claim. When I got a new car I gave them the opportunity to quote, it only took 10 min to get through to someone vs over an hour when you have to make a claim). The quote was £1000 more than the previous year's insurance i held with them all because my car was stolen and I had to claim. They convinced me to take the insurance while I shop around and I can cancel with a full refund within 14 days...only later to find out there are admin charges applied. I found better insurance, for less than half of the price quoted and better cover. Oh and they also loaded my policy with loads of extra I didn't need and weren't included in my previous years policy's. Upon reflection I belive they were trying to make it hard for me to leave. The terms for getting a full refund within 14 day's only applies if you find like for like cover or better cover at a price they are unable to match.

Cannot get through to them. Renewal price high. Costs me £50 in phone calls just to be cut off or not resolved. STEER CLEAR UNLESS YOU WANT AN INFURIATING EXPERIENCE.

Tried to talk to Adrian Flux about address change. Impossible to talk to the right person. Started at 9am. It is now 11.10am. They were very good. Now they are awful. I will not use them again.

After two years of straightforward insurance cover from Adrian Flux, the last year has been really poor. Having changed my campervan, it took six weeks and repeated requests to get any response, and even longer to get a revised quote. Even then I could not get a response to activate it. Cancelling the previous policy and getting a refund has been even worse. Maybe I was just dealing with a particularly inefficient person, but I am certainly relieved I didn’t have to make a claim. Strongly recommend you avoid unless you have no other choice. Trefor Lloyd

Absolute Robdogs! My husband insured with these even though I told him of my family experience. He thought they were ok until he cancelled the policy due to selling the vehicle when they've charged him the policy for the rest of the year even though it was only renewed in January, just 4 months ago. HERE IS A WARNING TO ALL- They claim to be EXPERTS in kit cars, modified cars, motorcycles, trikes, plus every motor manufacturer... they're only EXPERTS in ripping people off! If you want a policy just so you are legal, ok fine BUT don't ever expect to make a successful claim and if you cancel, it makes no difference, you'll still have to pay. A family member after a no fault accident was well over a year awaiting a payment. He was actually shocked when it came through as was so long, he'd pushed it from his mind. Even then it was a pittance and for nothing like what his kit car had been worth and not for injuries sustained or time off work. They just didn't fight to get him what he should have got. They're absolutely disgusting. AVOID AT ALL COSTS! Should you be considering using them, read these online reviews! Those people who are happy are those who haven't tried to make a claim or cancel, that's when you truly find out an insurance company's worth. Yes Flux make it easy to take out a policy because they've got you by the short and curlies then. Please don't give them your well earned money!

You made a mistake setting up a new car policy. I paid in full. When I noticed the mistake I got in touch to ask you to change it and this resulted in a lower premium but you refused to refund the difference between what I had paid and the new premium you quoted me, only offering me a small refund!! You couldn't understand why I was angry. I cancelled the whole thing (and got a much cheaper policy btw), but you won't apologise or admit any blame. Incredible and the most frustrating company I have ever dealt with.
