“I ordered a super dry mop several weeks ago and still haven’t received it. Not heard anything since the original order confirmation. Very frustrating.”

“We ordered a kitchen bin from you. When it came the box had been very badly squashed and as there was next to nothing in the way of packaging to absorb impact the bin had been ruined and could not be used. We went back to you through the website and you agreed to send a new one. This arrived two days ago, after a long wait, and this time there was a little more impact packaging but the box had again been flattened and the bin more squashed than last time and unusable. We have asked for our money back! You would have thought that a company such as Addis would use a carrier that takes care of their loads, not one that seems to ask an elephant to jump on them. The last delivery was left on our doorstep and the driver, who must have realized the item was badly damaged, was nowhere to be seen. Have given a score of very poor as that was the lowest available, but that is being very, very generous!”

“Unfortunately, like other reviews I saw, I am returning this washing line. I can't get the lines to tension at all despite much effort. Also the lines are much too close together so drying more than one load at a time would appear unlikely.”

“Company mislabelled my parcel leasing me to have to pay a customs charge of £8 when the item itself was worth £9. Customs should not have been applied under £20 but they labelled the parcel as worth £23”

“I’m not a happy customer.I ordered a spaymop bottle and the bottle keeps leaking lots of liquid out and my floor is soaked.I would like a full refund as a waste of my money. M.Timbrell.”

“I've been a customer of Addis for years but recently I noticed most of the products are sourced outside the UK. Over the last year, I purchased Addis compostable refuse bags for food waste, with labelling that they were produced in the UK, the bags were excellent. I recently ordered some further bags, when they arrived they were manufactured in Austria!!. I don't understand the economic and environmental logic of this. The air/road miles to transport these products from Austria is over 1000 miles, the environmental cost through producing CO2 and other damaging gases is unacceptable. I found at least 4 Uk manufacturers of compostible bags, so why not use these. I will, where possible purchase UK-produced Houseware products from now on, but sadly not from Addis.”
