“For no reason charges me £78 extra”

“No proper communication from them. I had to email them to find out what was happening. Also they need to ask about dates. I bought in advance as a surprise for my son’s 18th birthday. I expected them to ask when I wanted the transfer to happen but they just did it immediately. Now I have to pay£80 retention fee so my son is not driving around illegally or spoil the surprise.”

“I purchased a plate here and was looking forward to putting on my partners car as she is a nominee. Only to see that the purchase was made by absolute reg not myself so I can’t make any plates up myself. Should have gone directly to dvla to purchase as doing it via absolute reg just going to cause a whole lot of grief to put it on a car”

“It took 9 weeks, 3 e-mails and a phone call for me to be told the plate I had ordered and payed for was no longer available. I was offered something else or a full refund. A different plate but similar to the one I ordered was offered, I was told it was dearer but would get it for the same price but when I looked on their site it was cheaper than the original one I would never recommend this company to anyone”

“I bought a plate that was advertised as a 18th Birthday present for my son. They took the money and I had no other commutation other than your order is being processed. I chased after 2 weeks and was told it was being applied for through the DVLA another week went past with no communication, called again told the same as previously. Eventually after 3 half weeks I called again, finally got a call back to say the plate was now not available! This was now 9 days before my son’s birthday. I agree to buy another plate at a lower price. I did receive this plate and paper work and was told I would receive the refund within 7 days, I’m now 9 days later and not had any money back or call back as requested”

“I purchased a plate from these guys however, due to health reasons I no longer drive. They utterly refused to re-imburse me even though at the time of purchase up until now I have been in hospital on several occasions due to poor health AND spent 4 months in hospital due to a coma and the staff showed NO understanding and were damn right rude on the telephone.”

“Placed order for reg on 14th June. Have now only received it on 29th July. Kept getting fobbed off blaming DVLA. It was for my son's 21st birthday on 4th July so he hasn't received his present until nearly a month late.”

“Still awaiting confirmation of order that was changed, payments still not been reduced after paying £155 to change the order, hopefully won’t be this hard to get the overpayment back, don’t pay monthly!”

“Poor service, bombarded with messages to order and get free plates entering a code at checkout which I did and they didn’t come. Spoke with customer service representative Sharna Smith who was no help at all and refused to process the plates even though I confirm the code I received!?! Seems like these send this to get you to buy and then claim you didn’t add them. Would not recommend.”

“My friend bought a private plate after me from a different company and he has his plates ready before me also I have learning difficulties so they said they would do everything for me they sent me a very confusing form to fill in and send recorded delivery which cost me in total with printing the form and sending over £10 additionally on top off there fee so not happy atall my advice is to use someone else”

“It’s been nearly 2 months and I still haven’t received the all clear to change my reg. excuse sits from a private seller and “it will be cleared within 7 days” I’ve had that 3 times now and it still isn’t cleared!! Not good at all just tell you what you want to hear”

“I bought a plate on 01/06/2025 and I was then told it wasn't available. Poor communications. I purchased the next plate on 13/06/2025 and I still haven't received the retention certificate or V5 by 10/06/2025. I keep asking for replies to my messages, but get nothing back. I will not be using them again”
