“I ordered a private plate from this company and 3 weeks later I still haven’t received the document. I spoke to a lady called Maisy on the phone who was extremely dismissive and unhelpful. To be honest I wish I had an option for zero stars.”

“I purchased and paid for a reg, which was not available. Yet still shows on website. I didn't get Tod the reg was not available, until I got in touch to see why I hadn't received anything. This is misleading and wrong advertising.”

“I bought this registration and was not advised when I went to register it to my jeep it could not be registered as my jeep was not young enough ! Very disappointed at it was bought for my 60th Birthday”

“I bought a reg from absolute reg, and they took the money straight away but never sent me a receipt or email confirmation, so I waited a week and still no registration slip in the post or no email, so I had to go out of my own way and ring them and ask what was going on, my order was in pending and was never fully processed, but yet they took my money, the woman sorted it and sent an email confirmation straight away, which could’ve been done when I purchased it.”

“I have still yet to receive the certification documents despite them being ‘dispatched’ a week ago. I have tried to contact via email to chase this up however have not received anything response. Also, after purchasing the registration, it stayed up on their site for days after my purchase saying it was still available.”

“My wife purchased a registration number from this company, but realised before having the number plate made that there was a problem with the actual number she selected, which would cause distress in the family. She tried to contact Jake Smith the CEO of Absolute Reg via emailing the company, also via LinkedIn and finally by a typed letter posted to Jake Smith's business address asking if she could arrange to exchange the number for another one she had found on the Absolute Reg Website for sale at a similar price. She has not had any response to any of her communications. This is not the level of service we expected to receive and would appreciate a reply to her request.”

“Where to start Jake. Purchase of numberplate hasn't gone as stated on your website. Even before this I was told 21 working days. I had to contact again after 6 weeks and 30 working days had passed. 10 year Certificate in my name promised in FAQ Certificate in "Elite Registrations" name and valid for under 18 months was supplied. Jake continually trying to shift blame and responsibility. Quoting that T&C takes precedence over anything else on the website, that's all well and good, but the T&C aren't actually available at point of confirming sale (as such making it an unfair contract and unenforceable) but it gets even better .there is nothing in the T&C that conflicts with the FAQ, Jake clearly thought mentioning t&c would make me fold. Good job one of us has knowledge and experience of how contacts and consumer rights work (it isn't Jake) When he very reluctantly offers to only partially resolve the issue and expects ME to pay postage for THEIR issue (again not how it works Jake) Due to the contract that was entered into Jake has now got almost a year and a half before he can fully fulfil the sale. If he doesn't do so and due to that I lose the right to the numberplate purchased I will be demanding a full refund (and go through small claims court if necessary to do so) I bring this up only a fraction of this on your Facebook page and immediately get blocked, why would that be? Maybe that's why you have good review scores, you block anyone who doesn't give you 5 stars”

“Ordered and paid for my new plates 5 weeks ago and still no plates. You would think if you spent a load of money, the least absolute could do is send the documents first class instead of the carrier pigeon. The online experience was good, but the delivery service is very poor”

“The process of purchasing the reg and having it transferred is very efficient and they kept me informed at each step. However, I also chose to buy my plates from them. It was confirmed that they had been processed but they never arrived. As they had not been sent via recorded delivery there was no tracking. I ended up having to purchase plates locally. Plates lost in the post, now on another car racking up fines etc???? Time will tell. A real let down as a previously excellent service.”

“Don't understand why Absolute reg Don't ask you to send the v5c when you pay for them to transfer the documents. Would save alot a time, and why have a contact number when you don't answer the phone?”

“Bought reg and once I received the paperwork I called up before 3pm to get some plates made and expected next day delivery. That was 6 days ago and I still haven’t received them yet. Called them and was met with hostility. Very poor”
