You need to sort things out yourself i ended up with my car off the raod for 5 days until the new reg was found by my insurance, never again would i buy a plate

I bought a reg, and when emailing someone who works there for a confirmation that I owned the reg he said he can’t give it me? And just said I have to put it on a car within 5 years or it could be sold… Then when I asked to explain why I had to put it on my car and couldn’t just get a confirmation he told me to ring someone instead of messaging him

Not too happy. Payed the 80£ dvla fee but the certificate didn't came in my name , despite stating it will. They didn't even bothered to change the name and pocketed the 80£ fee,forcing me to assign the plates that day so i could buy the phisical plates. The problem is , i couldn't order the phisical number plates as the name on the certificate and the adress , was not mine so i had to first assign them. 5 days later still have my old plates and by miracle i wasn't stopped by the police so far. Hopefully they will come today. This process stressed me out so much and I'm still stressed, as my kid has a dental appointment today , and if my plates don't come by 16pm , I'll again have to drive with my old ones. I didn't bought the plates from them as they are double the normal price. They should had sent the certificate on my name so i could first buy the plates myself, then assign them on , after i had the actual plates. However that was not possible because it arrived with the last owners name and address.

Didn’t receive my reg for nearly 4 weeks, had to keep ringing to get it sorted. Got it within the week when I said I wanted to cancel.

The process of my private plates have been a disaster. The reason I went with Absolute Reg is because of the good reviews but unfortunately I did not experience the same. The communication has been none existent and everytime I did call, a gent answered every-time and I felt rushed on the phone. He did not help and his customer service skills needs working on. I sent a few wrong details and when they received this they did not bother to notify me any updates so the whole process took me 7 weeks in total. Personally I would tell people to avoid this company and definitely do some research before committing or look elsewhere. I hope my review helps others, I am disappointed and wont be using this company nor their services again.

Charged twice, had to call to correct the issue and get a refund, had been 3 weeks and still haven’t received paperwork.

Sadley my experience was not Absolute Reg but Absolute Rubbish. I was advised that I would get an email confirming the reg number change and that I could take this to the No Plate supplier and this would enable me to get new plates made .... the plate maker rejected the email stating it did not contain any of the information required for them to be authorised to provide the plates as set out by the DVLA. This was a Saturday and Absolute Reg don't open ! .. "The Leading Private Number Plate supplier in the UK " ??? So I phone back after the weekend ..... listen to some very scratchy old music recording for over 20 mins ...... "The Leading Private Number Plate supplier in the UK " ???? When I spoke to someone they said there was an attachment to the email ..." er no there wasn't " "yes there was" " no there wasn't I'm looking at it now - no attachment " " Oh I don't know what happened " .... "The Leading Private Number Plate supplier in the UK " ????? " I'll resend it now" . " Ok so I've got a lot more details now in this email but no attachment? " well I sent it " " well it's not here" " well I sent it " "well it not here !!!" ...... "The Leading Private Number Plate supplier in the UK " ??? "I'lll have to get my manager to call you" "Ok in fact you can put it through as a complaint " The manager called I relayed everything "don't know why you haven't got it i'll send it again " "Ok I've got the email no attachment " " I don't know why " "So if you can see it why don't you just open the attachment and send just the certificate without the anything else " "Ok" " Ok I've got it !" "OK is there anything else" " Well yes do you think I have had the service I've paid for ?" Well.... you've got your certificate now" "so with everything I have had to deal with including these calls my time and listening to your scratchy Music for 20mins I think I should have some form of refund for the service I didn't get" " where not going to refund you for your private plate " " that's not what I asked for I said the service charge " " we don't have a service charge" "you do" " you paid £270 for your plate " no I didn't it was advertised more like £200 and then your charges go on top " You paid £270 for your plate and x to the DVLA" No it was more like £200 and then your service charge " " yes you paid £39.99 to us for x. " yea that's your service charge do you not think considering the failings in your service you should consider some sort of refund" " our company policy is no refunds it says that in our terms and conditions " " That may be your policy but that does not prevent your company choosing to provide a refund where it feels it has failed to provide an adequate service" " No we cannot " " So as "The Leading Private Number Plate supplier in the UK " is it not in your interest for good customer care to provide some refund " " No " I also identified that the name designated for the plate - my daughter - had come back as a MR !!! When I asked about this I was told it must be what is on the reg doc you provided us. I checked on the photo I had of the doc and found it was just my daughters first and surname, so I called back and explained this " Oh that will be the DVLA not us " " Are you sure, is there anything you can do ? " No you need to contact the DVLA " ......... This represents my experience with "The Leading Private Number Plate supplier in the UK " ?????? I can see their new marketing approach: Why bother with Absolute Reg When you can have Absolute Rubbish

Ordered number on the 23rd August now the 15th of September still not received any paperwork from them reg was a birthday gift to late now not helpful staff send over 7 emails now they just say wait more 7 working days I would not buy from them.

Very poor service. The company name shouldn't be 'Absolute Reg' but more 'Absolute Joke of a company'. I don't usually write complaints but this company is terrible. Well done to company director Jake for his insulting attitude.

Tried to assign a plate I bought from ABSOLUTE REG Online with DVLA, to find out that I had to contact DVLA during certain hours. I was onhold an hour only to find out that they couldn't assign it for some reason. Got told to call where I bought it from. So I called the company and ABSOLUTE REG said it had only one assignment and I had to send to to DVLA to sort out. 4 weeks later still not assigned. I've no log book now, no private plate paperwork, and a car stood with no tax until I get all the paperwork back. I've had private plates before and never had any issues with the change over. WONT USE EVER AGAIN.👎👎👎👎👎👎👎

They should make make me aware of the registration it’s not Ulez complaint as I had 14 fines that could be avoided and not being charged and not knowing it

Absolute nightmare. I’ve made a payment in amount of about 400 £. And that was it. I get a confirmation email that the plates were posted on the 8th of aug. It is august 25th. I have ni plates, I have no V5. I can’t use the car. AVOID AT ALL COSTS AVOID AT ALL COSTS Update. The idiots sent my V5 and my new plates to a total different address. I’ve contacted them but simply no answer

Absolute Crap they should be called! Waited 5 weeks for number plate documents to come through. Had an email to say documents have been posted 5 days ago. Still not received! Phoned weekly to see where documents were kept getting fobbed off! Rubbish company wish I had bought from DVLA instead !
