“Ordered a registration then got told it was actually meant to be a different one. I asked for a refund on the physical plates I ordered as it was Absolute Reg's fault and they refused me one.”

“Fast to purchase, slow to deliver. V750 was ‘dispatched’ a week after purchase then delivered three days after that. Even after paying for first class delivery.”

“Just recently bought a reg number from Absolute Reg, and payed all the fees, but added the extra £30 for them to do all the work, to speed things up. I had an Email to say that the new number had been assigned to my vehicle. I didn't buy the new plates from Absolute as i needed Japan style plates and wanted them in 3D gel, and had a local supplier who was a lot cheaper than Absolute. I waited for the letter of authorization to arrive but after 2 days nothing came. So i rang Absolute to find out why, and the reply was ( oh i'll send it through now ) and when it came through i had 14 hours before it expired, so had to rush to get it to the plate supplier. So what did i pay the extra £30 for. Sorry never again. ANTHONY HOUSE”

“Bought two plates. Turns out one of the plates was listed incorrectly. Frustrating, but I did receive a full refund, which is something.”

“Email customer support was pretty useless. Speed of everything was good to be honest. Plate quality was good. Stickers for putting the plate on the car were shocking, didn’t work, had to figure out another way to get it on. Didn’t bother trying to get another set of stickers from them - as I didn’t want to talk to them again.”

“Made an initial error online with the nominee name, called within 10 mins of placing the order to be told the retention cert had been dispatched (10 mins!!) and because of this, to amend I would need to pay £65, the erroneous cert never arrived, but the amended did, leaving me to wonder whether in fact the original had actually been dispatched at the point of calling, and if not why I was forced to pay a further £65 simply to update the nominee name on the system!”

“Was told I couldn't apply my plates unless I paid absolute reg over £40 pounds or waited 5 weeks for dvla. Once I contacted DVLA they asked why they charged me as I could have done it myself so I feel scammed out of over £40 😠 not happy at all”

“The service overall was very efficient, and whilst I’m not totally unhappy, I just felt like the £39.99 premium service was a complete rip off, and resulted in me having to wait longer before I could put my new reg on.”
