“I looove my new abaya! Wore to a nikkah and got so many compliments. Only complaint is you were sold out of my size (and multiple sizes) for the under dress, so I had to purchase one from another company.”

“I really like the cords that I purchased. The blue denim look one has lovely details like top stitching, pockets and a belt. The only thing that would have elevated it is if the cliffs had been lined and with a split so that they could be worn turned back but also to facilitate wudu. I also found that the buttons are spaced too fat apart which then creates gaping which is far from modest. This is despite me sizing up one size. Other than that my experience was good.”

“I have been a loyal customer of this line for a long time and I always used to buy their items from John Lewis. Recently, I ordered a dress directly frim their company Aab and paid for next‑day delivery, including an additional £8 for this service. Since I placed the order on Friday, I expected the dress to arrive on Monday. However, it did not arrive until Wednesday afternoon.When I contacted customer service, I was told that because my order was placed after 1 PM on Friday, it would technically be processed on Monday, meaning the “next day” delivery should have been Tuesday. Even based on their explanation, the dress should have arrived on Tuesday — not Wednesday.I requested compensation because, in both scenarios, the delivery was delayed and I paid for a service that was not provided. Instead of acknowledging the issue, they continued to give excuses. I insisted that the dress was delayed regardless of the technicalities, and that I paid for a service I did not receive. At this point, I decided I no longer want to deal with them, and I do not even want the dress anymore. I have not opened the package. I made it clear that I expect a full refund, including the delivery fee.”

Thank you for your review, we apologise for the delay you experienced, we understand that you have been purchasing via John Lewis and decided to purchase via our website on this occasion. As discussed in our previous correspondence to you , our website clearly states that orders placed after Friday at 1:00 PM are processed the following Monday for delivery on Tuesday and as your order was placed on Friday at 6:37 PM, it was processed on Monday and collected by DPD as scheduled. Unfortunately, an unexpected technical issue at DPD's sorting facility delayed your delivery to Wednesday and while this delay was beyond our direct control, we immediately acknowledged it and refunded your £8.00 next-day delivery fee in full, as well as providing a free returns label. As mentioned previously, because your order was placed after our Friday cut-off time, a delivery for Monday was never an option. The only delay was the single day from Tuesday to Wednesday caused by DPD, as we have issued a full refund for next day delivery and provided free returns label, we are unable to offer further financial compensation. We genuinely regret the inconvenience this caused and as a gesture of goodwill, we would like to provide you with a 10% discount code off your next order with us. Thank you Aab Customer Care Team

“I just bought three dresses from Aab online - the chine abaya is absolutely brilliant. Flattering fit and luxury feel. 5 out of 5 from me. The tea pink maxi was perfect for the heat wave we have just had... very comfortable and a generous fit. The blue retro maxi is well structured and feels good on however, it was see through and required a layer underneath and considering its supposed to be modest wear, I was a bit disappointed that I had to layer it up. I have purchased from Aab previously too and overall I am very happy with all my purchases. I would recommend Aab to anyone looking for modest clothing.”
