“We purchased a hamper in the good faith that what was displayed on the website was honest. Unfortunately, whilst the site implies you can choose the delivery day, this is only applicable in an ideal world - that one without national strikes !! A charge of £5.99 is made for delivery, which is pretty typical for courier delivery, however, in the middle of the National Royal Mail postage strikes, this company chooses to use Royal Mail for a £130 hamper! Having spoken to a very rude lady on the phone that just kept referring us to the terms and conditions that we agreed to during checkout, the end result was - we don't care - we've sent it and it is not our problem anymore. I would suggest that you check what method they are using for your order - they give so many implications to customers that they are NOT using Royal Mail - including stating clearly all over the site that they are delivering up to the 24th of December - even though Royal Mail already plan to strike on the 23rd and 24th December. Delays in deliveries happen - and I accept that, and would accept weather, breakdowns and couriers being busy, but when a company promises a named day delivery and then goes out of its way to choose a delivery method that has no chance at all of achieving that - they are 100% to blame for the failed delivery. We shall not be using 123 Hampers again - we trusted them as they are a large company - perhaps supporting a small company is a much better idea in future.”
