“I was looking for a traditional recipe, gluten-free Cumberland sausage and I have to say that Swaledale Butchers' Cumberland sausage lived up to my expectations. Properly curled into a spiral, the sausage cooked perfectly in the pan, kept its shape and didn't burst. The texture and the flavour were great, with a great balance of herbs and spices, which did not over-power. The pepper was there, but not to excess. Both my wife and I enjoyed it, and so did the dog!”
