“This was the first sausage I bought from Swaledale Butchers, because I wanted a Cumberland sausage which was also gluten free. This is a great, peppery sausage, all the better for being coiled in the traditional shape. Great in sausage and mash with onion gravy, it also works very well in a casserole with red wine and lentils. While I love to try the new and special sausages that Swaledale makes, I always add a few Cumberland sausages to my orders.”
