We ordered cockeral for our Christmas bird this year. It was simply delicious. Texture is not as soft as chicken which is exactly what we expected. The taste is a million times better. An absolutely delicious treat. Cold the next day was also a winner! We will definitely be ordering again. Loved it!

The cockerel was really nice and made a great variation on turkey. I ordered a 3-4kg one but was 4.5kg when it arrived - lucky me! It fed 7 with barely a dent and could easily have done over double that. Very nice flavour and would definitely recommend.

First time we have had a cockeral for Christmas and very pleased we did. Cooked it nice and slowly and the meat was lovely and tender and full of flavour. Would definately buy again.

The cockerel was delicious but the gravy had to do without the giblets to flavour it as they had been missed out. If you wondered who the leftover giblet pack belonged to it was us!

Our Christmas day capon was wonderful - very tasty and moist, I believe all of our guests are now in favour of capon over turkey.
