“Installing this made-to-measure loft hatch is effective and aesthetically pleasing. However, a solo installation can be challenging. The main issue is the loft hatch axle protruding outside the frame and into the ceiling. This requires separating the two halves, installing the frame, making a clearance slot in the ceiling for the axle, taking the frame down, reassembling, and then reinstalling it. The mounting holes are too close to the corners, making it difficult to use a small Combi Drill to drill holes and install screws properly. Lastly, the corner welding seems adequate but poorly executed.”

“Good product be careful to measure correctly if buying made to measure we had to do a bit of work to make it fit available space on celing. Very pleased make the hall so much warmer.”

“Great quality made to measure hatch. I would definitely purchase again from this company. The frame depth is better than some others so would work in a scenario where you are overboarding an existing ceiling. The hatch dosen't detach from the frame so this will either be a two person job or require props to fit the frame into the opening.”
