IQ Mobile is owned and operated by Peter Gradwell, a leading UK telecoms entrepreneur. His first business, Gradwell Communications, was founded in 1998 whilst at University in Aberystwyth and provides Cloud Telephony to over 20,000 UK small businesses.

In April 2020, Peter took over IQ Mobile, with a vision for a new type of mobile phone service that combines a high quality network, good value for money and a compelling offering that recognises the new more flexible, mobile way of working that so many of us are used too - but where we can also have a single phone device that respects our work/life balance.

Throughout 2020 and into 2021, we will be focused on innovating in the business mobile sector, adding Wifi Calling, 5G, Mobile Call Recording and other business class telephony features that the mobile world has long been looking for.

“I fitted a Wifi antenna to my caravan and was looking for a Data Only Sim, but all of them seem to require you to commit to monthly payments, even the pay-as-you-go Sims. Then I discovered IQ Mobile, which provides the flexible options I was looking for. You just buy the Sim and then purchase top-ups as and when you need them, perfect!”

“I use a motorhome for trips at home and abroad. I also work from the motorhome and use a mifi device to enable that. I have found IQ Go to be the best value solution to my travelling wifi needs. I have used the SIM in France and Spain and the ability to contact a human on WhatsApp is a gamechanger for setting up. Well done IQ thank you for solving my wifi issued.”

“Very happy with IQ mobile set up, main use for us will be as a MiFi SIm in the motorhome. In tests all participants very happy with how it all worked, Updates and checks etc are all pretty straightforward, and the customer service and help was excellent. happy to recommend.”

“I bought a data Sim to go into my ZTE wifi unit. It has worked very well in France, Spain and Portugal so far. I did need to tweak the service provider by setting the network to 4g only for Spain. That forced a switch to Movistar from Orange, which was only giving 3G. Now in Portugal I put it back to 3,4 or 5G and it changed to NOS. Working well. Note, the ZTE uses a lot of power to recharge and only likes it's own cable. Helpful service from the team at IQ.”

“I use IQ go in my TP link mifi have been using in France for 3weeks, never a problem, as well as IQ go, I brought a IQ mobile for my wife’s phone, and received quick and efficient service for both, in fact on my return to the uk I will probably switch my phone to IQ.”
