“The new packing just isn't it. I've been using facetheory products for like 6 years now. It transformed my face and got rid of all my issues. Took a break from the products, ordered not too long ago and noticed the new paste packing. I get the reason but I'm not a fan of them.”

“Not as good as last exfoliator not as rough unless I've chosen the wrong one but still using it as a cleanser do not like the tubes would rather have tubs”

It sounds like you might be referring to one of our other exfoliators with a more textured formula (Double Glow Exfoliating Face & Body Scrub). ClariCleanse is designed as a gentle chemical exfoliant rather than a physical scrub, which could explain the smoother consistency you noticed. We’ve also updated some packaging to lightweight tubes for easier use and to help reduce packaging waste, but we understand some customers still prefer jars. “I love this product but since changing from the glass pot to the metal tube I will be looking for an alternative I could wash the glass to recycle - I can’t do this with the metal tube Annoyingly however I try to manipulate the tube it regularly decides to continue squeezing out so I am always wasting the product”

Hi Michelle, Thank you for sharing your feedback. We’re really glad you love the ClariCleanse formula, though we’re sorry to hear the new tube hasn’t worked as well for you. The shift from glass to aluminium was made to make our packaging lighter and more travel-friendly, as well as to reduce the risk of breakage. We understand your concerns about recycling and product control, aluminium tubes can be recycled in most household programs once fully emptied and flattened, but they can sometimes be tricky to handle. We’re currently reviewing improved dispenser options to reduce waste and make it easier to use every last bit. Your input is extremely helpful in this process. “The cleanser is amazing (I’ve been using it for over 5 years), but I literally can’t recommend it anymore due to the terrible packaging! It leaks everywhere, goes all gunky around the opening, and it’s so much harder to get the correct amount which is causing a lot more waste! PLEASE go back to the glass jars I BEG, I used to tell everyone to buy from facetheory but this rebrand is atrocious - will be looking for an alternative cleanser when this one is finished”
