“I'm familiar with Russian Caravan and Lapsang Souchong and bought this blend to replace my Twinings Lapsang. I don't know where the smoke came from but I won't be buying this again - probably won't drink the other 39. Dire.”
“What a disaster this tea is, certainly not a good replacement for Lapsang. I went with the write up on this replacement for Lapsang Souchong and ordered fifteen boxes my normal size of order and have found this tea to be awful, the taste is nothing comparable to Lapsang so the write up on it is extremely misleading. After fifty plus years of drinking Lapsang Souchong I now find myself in the position of not knowing what to drink so will now be trying to find a company who still produces Lapsang. Shame on Twinings for saving on cost and then producing an inferior product. I would willingly pay more for the real tea than drink a product that tastes so horrible.As ever cost rules and customer satisfaction means nothing. A respected company who will now go down in the estimation of people who have enjoyed Lapsang Souchong for many years.”

do not present this in the same packaging as your famous Lapsang Souchong you mislead your customers by even mentioning the name on the product.
If you can not reinstate the original product then do not present this as a replacement it is. I thing short of aweful !”
