“Images captured through my telescope look really good. I attached it using a c to 1.25” adapter that works well.
I do have some dust on the sensor which I’m unsure how to clean.”
“This is the first time I've tried to do anything using a Raspberry Pi, let alone the new high qualiity camera, so I was nervous about the outcome. I needn't have worried. The camera set up was very straight forward and the assistance from the various forums was outstanding.
The image quality for my project is very important and this little CCD doesn't disappoint.
I have yet to finnish the project, but I'm encouraged by the earlier mention performance.

“I bought this camera without a lens as I am hoping to use it on my telescope for astro photography. Inital results are impressive but I still need to play with getting the camera deeper into the telescope to get it to focus on objects further away. Due to the larger aperture on the telescope the depth of field is VERY small, and if the camera is not mounted exactly perpendicular to the light path it can cause focus issues but I'm hoping to over come that and then see if it will shoot images of stars/planets (I'll start with the moon and work to fainter objects.) I am very impressed so far.”
