“Overall, the camera is a nice unit and I've managed to get some good results with my initial experimentation, once I'd found the online documentation. The only issues I had was in determining whether or not to use the included CS-C adapter. Both types of lenses will screw into it, but if your lens doesn't need it, you'll be unable to focus properly.”

“The camera Pi enthusiasts have been waiting for - coupled with a "C" or "CS" mount lens or telescope/microscope adaptor (not included) you can capture truly high quality imagery under total programme control. Long range zoom for wildlife? No problem. Very long exposures for astrophotography? No problem. Macro close up timelapse of crystal growing? No problem. Couple to a microscope to capture creatures that swarm and multiply in a drop of water? No problem. You get the idea! So much more flexible than the v2 camera - highly recommended.”
