“Brilliant way to install a little network appliance in my system with minimal cables. Once I can get a new RPi 4 8gb that is... wont pay the insane prices that everyone is flogging them at now have to wait till they are back in stock. Then build my Nagios Core”
“The best power source for a Pi 4. Single cable solution, oodles of watts, reduces cable mess, works flawlessly. I have 3 Pis powered this way and they never miss a beat. Enough power for a USB 2.5" HDD or SSD. Default fan curve is aggressive but can easily be tamed.”
“Works perfectly as expected. Just be careful handling the while unit when it's running as it's possible to accidentally cause a short with your fingers.”
“Tiny fan gets noisy quickly, but is controlled via PWM so can be kept spinning as slow as possible. I didn't spot the obvious but in the documentation about *not plugging in usb power whilst the Poe+ hat is connected*... No harm done.
Otherwise the board works fine!”
“Really simple to install and now have a very clean, single cable installation for my Pi with my other networking equipment. Great value. Will be adding to any future devices I purchase.”
