“I decided to splurge and try out the new pi4 with 8Gb for a Plex media server which I had previously running on a 3B. My old 3B would sometimes hang with out of memory errors during period scans. After 3 weeks I've not had a single performance issue. In addition I've been able to add over process, like piHole and netdata to monitor the performance and I've yet to have a single issue. So far very impressed with this little machine!”

The boot time is blistering, and the responsiveness once booted is that akin to most desktops and laptops. With the added bonus of the minimal electricity usage and small form factor.”
“I am impressed with the speed and configuration of this Pi. The two main drawbacks are the low processing power and the lack of a 64bit Raspberry Pi OS. I hope that the latter will be available some time soon.”
