“While it may have been outclassed by the Pi5, the Raspberry Pi 4b still has plenty of horsepower available for lots of tasks, including server and network appliance jobs. You'd be amazed how much work you can get out of a Pi4 server with 8gb of ram. I bought this Pi4 as a replacement for the one in my backup server, which unfortunately died. The replacement was a simple matter of putting it into the old Pi's Argon case, plugging in the boot device, and making a DHCP change. Bingo. All working 100%.”
