“I needed a file server and VPN for my office that would allow my staff to work from home. The 8gb model 4B is more than adequate for a SAMBA configuration with a USB SSD hard disk and a Wireguard VPN with PiHole. It gets quite warm so I put it into a case with a fan. It runs at about 40C and using RaspController Pro on my mobile phone I can monitor it remotely. Raspbian is a stable operating system and straightforward to configure. I had so much fun configuring it that I couldn't bear to part with it, so I bought another one to play with after installing the one for the office.”
