“This is my second Pi 4 the first was the 1GB version which is fine but it struggles when browsing video so it's now powering a robot, Adeept robots have good hardware but the software is a nightmare be warned :) the only improvement I'd suggest for the Pi 4 is the power supply really could use a off/on switch all this plugging and unplugging increases wear”
“I suspect they could fit 4 USB C instead of two USB 2 ports, thus they would have space for two full size HDMI (when removed present USB C power in port) but I guess it all came down to the price.”
“I wanted a spare pi to back up as my onboard computer used for navigation across seas; a hostile environment for pis! I thought I would upgrade too. The extras (new card, new leads for video and power, new power supply) added up to twice the cost of the pi. And the one benefit I was expecting - faster movement of chart displays - didn't happen.
So make sure you need one before buying.”
