“Finally USB3 and 1Gb ethernet port, fast as well.
Best update so far in the Pi range.
Inevitable I guess but only downside is the new layout and switch to USB C charging means new case and PSU required as well.”
“Dial boot with Lakka & raspian, Steam Link, python socket for my arduino's serial data, node.js server, PiHole and Apache running all smoothly at the same time. With the Argon One case the Pi 4 is definitely worthy of its "title" as desktoo replacement. As long as one uses Unix system on this, Linux naturally works the smoothest, this small one can do a lot and more!”
“Very impressed with improved performance. Even my 10 year old grandson (veteran of high spec laptop, Xbox, PS2, iPad, etc etc) was impressed, may have to buy him one now. Experience of PiHut first class.”
“Everything I expected and more. This is replacing my old desktop. It is silent ( no fan fitted ). Yet to try it with 4K works really well at 1080p. Currently working my way through operating systems. Raspbarian works well, Booted up Ubuntu Server 64bit. Manjaro works well. Going to try network boot so wish me luck.”
