“A small Pi for little money. Make sure your USB OTG cable doesn't have an angled connecter, otherwise you block the power supply. I've also ordered the USB to microUSB OTG Converter Shim as a nice small solution.
Use a simple USB hub to attach mouse, keyboard and WiFi/Ethernet during configuration. After that you can remove this all and continue to use it headless.

“Bought this pi zero to build a worked printer server for a USB printer. Set it up using a WiFi dongle, followed some online guides to set up a cups printer server and not I can print direct from my phone, tablet and laptop, all without having to touch the USB lead.”
“Works like a charm. I'm using it for surveillance camera, but it cant stands HD to be honest. Well, I didnt try HD recording on other pi's so I cant judge.
