“Two days ago PHP 7 was released. And yesterday I received my Raspberry Pi Zero in the mail. So let’s celebrate and put the two together. None of the tutorials I found on the internet actually worked. But by cherry picking from different tutorials, in the end everything fell into place. http://dev.flamman.nl/php-7-fpmfastcgi-apache-on-raspberry-pi-zero/”
“picked this up cannot wait to see how much it can do still debating if to pair it up with robo kit to slim it all down or just tuck it away as a headless system so many choices.”
“The Pi Zero is great - it's got just enough functionality to make it a full computer, although you do need a set of adapters to go with it. I can thoroughly recommend the Essentials Kit as it gives you all the headers you might need to solder on as well as HDMI and USB adapters to plug your peripherals into. It's better than the A+ - smaller, more powerful and more memory. Definitely very hackable. You want GPIO headers? Solder them on. You want to solder directly to the GPIO or use conductive ink? No problem, don't attach headers.”
