“My fault for not checking - but only having 1 usb port is a nuisance.
I then bought a unpowered USB hub thinking it would be no issue, but doesn't work with the zero.
From reading other peoples posts on forums, if you have another variant of the PI then the zero is easy to set up, as you can configure the wifi settings on the sd card on a different pi, then when you plug it in you can SSH and voilah it works.
But on its own - it hasn;t quite worked out to be the cheap and cheerful micropc I was looking for.
Once I've bought a few more accessories (which I have but awaiting delivery) then maybe I'll be able to appreciate it more, but for now its just sat there waiting to be played with :(
By the time i've finished buying all the accessories - i should have bought a PI2 / PI3. But as ive already made the investment, i may as well just buy the few remaining accessories i require.”
“Hi. I'm Dat Tran. I come from Vietnamese. Now, i want to buy the Raspberry Zero. I sended an email to require how to buy the Raspberry Zero, but i don't receive you reply. Can you help me ?
I'm looking forward your reply!”
“Ok so its the price of a nice bottle of wine, or pint and a half of beer. You will need the add-on kit for it to work for compatibility.
I have tried KODI. Nope, OBMC with 32Gig stick sharing music videos pre-loaded together with your videos.
Also I'm going to be doing the programming projects I was doing with the original pi since if it breaks ,heh its a £5 fix. The SD card of course needs to be bought. Nowadays they're cheap as chips. Visit the Pi Hut. Do as i did. Write a review, and 5% off my next purchase.
Don't know how long it'll last though. Maybe I'll get a Pi-3. This hobbies catching... I've got the boards, mostly they're interchangeable. Just check before.”
