“These are nice small light and super bright (same as unicorn hat?). Via Pimoroni you can get a set of examples to get you started quickly.
There cheap, well made, and bright. Must have HAT, I would say.”
“The Blinkt! lights are brilliant for starting to use the Pi. They're super bright and easy to use with the Blinkt! library. I've learned lots setting them up. Get some for anyone with a Pi who doesn't know what to do with it or who wants to start using Python.”
“Another great product from Pimoroni supplied by the pi hut with quick shipping and easy to use libraries use the one line installer then easy to control with simple rub and more complex and subtle hue controls too really excellent product.”

“I have mine on one of my pi's that is mounted vertically on my desk (along with a powered USB hub and other accessories). Very simple to install the software examples. I modified the coloured binary clock example and have that running whenever I am not using it for anything else.
Note that the LEDs can be set to any brightness. At their full brightness and on white, it makes a very acceptable desk reading lamp! :-)”
