“I had read a lot about the APA102 LEDs but had never actually seen one in action. So now I had eight! plugged into a Pi Zero, installed the Python libraries, first test and Bl**DY H*LL are they bright! Get one! I even managed to get it working with Micropython on an ESP8266. At the price a no-brainer.”
“Look buddies I love getting my geek on like the next wanna be maker... but more times than not I don’t want to be fussing over soldering headers to things. It’s not that I can’t do it but I’d rather just get on to the “fun” stuff. Anyone says soldering is fun either has just started doing it or can’t do anything else. This LED strip is as easy as LEGO.

“A great little addition to my Pi.
I already had one I bought last year on another Pi so this is my second.
I currently have it running, showing a live feed of the status of the London Underground lines, but have also written a binary clock, including a flashing second counter.
LEDs are really bright. You could even use this as some sort of nightlight!”
“At this price, it's just the perfect add-on for a quick project. I used it to add some cool animations to my Google Assistant device. LEDs are bright en in great colors, code was really easy to set up, great examples are included. Don't hesitate, you'll love it!”
