I bought the rPi as a toy for my experiments. I am an advanced Linux user, and the rPi give me full satisfaction. Of course, you cannot navigate through Internet with full comfort such on a regular desktop, so what? The true playground is the command line, combinate with the rPi ports, you will spend many sleepless hours.

After downloading and prepping XBMC software onto a 32 Gig micro SD card and inserting it, a wi-Fi adapter, and HDMI cable into my new B+, I was off to the movies! Easy to set up and a pleasure to use, I recommend the new Raspberry Pi Model B+ To all newbies who just want an inexpensive, light weight table top HDTV box!

Loving the new design, much cleaner and no more sd-card that can get loose. The micro sd sits super firmly on the new Pi. It's on the back usb of my router as a OpenVPN server. Simple, but super effective!

Superb design, much improved over the previous models, I like the new socket for the mini SD card and the extra USB sockets give it more conectability, greay stuff

My first Pi and a B+, apparently i timed that well with 4 usb ports ;) . Installed openelec from noobs on bootup and usually repositories ;p all worked great and didnt take long. First select on info was a little slow but to be expected i guess. After some research I decided to add a Verbatim Store n Go 16g usb to cache and run quicker and installed Raspbmc to-usb, couple of issues as it would not initially boot and not knowing tonnes of linux but what a great way to learn, asked the guys at Pi forums and they gave me 3 new files to overwite on the orginal Raspbmc download and since trasnferring them to the SD card its been bob on. Considering this thing is so small, fanless, cost zip to run and i dont need my PC on, I am well happy and glad i took the plunge. I bought a popcorn hour for £200+ last year and this is doing pretty much as good as, sall that about. Thats my "portable" media centre sorted, i think i may need another now for a wee arcade system, its gonna be the dogz.

The designers and developers of the Raspberry Pi have once again come up with the goods. They've listened hard, and thought even harder, about how to make an excellent product even better. Better layout, more efficient and more IO.
