However the pre installed sd card i got did not work on it so i had to install it all my self”

“The great thing about the Raspberry Pi is that, despite its clever design, it doesn't try to do everything for you. Depending on what you're intending to use it for, you might need to 'get your hands dirty' (to an extent) in setting it up. For those of us who are technically-minded, or willing to learn, this can be quite rewarding. It's a great little piece of kit, and it doesn't make you work TOO hard to get things done, so if you don't mind tinkering with it (or its accessories) for a while, it can be a lot of fun, and something of a learning experience.”
