I'm big fan of the raspberry. This is the 3rd one for my household. Just a bit disappointed I missed out on the PI 2 which is a big improvement for a modest increase in cost. Would of give 5 star for the PI 2. Opted for the metal FLIRC case which is neat. Found I needed a 2amp powersupply as system was running low on power.... indicated by the flashing coloured square in the the top right of the screen. The micro SD card seems faster than the standard SD card and is more convenient not protruding out of the case but annoyingly found the standard SD image slightly different size to the micro SD image so was an added complication. Made easier because I place the swapspace at the end of the image so it's simple to reduce the size of the image. Excellent having additional 2 USB ports over the original PI model B. Previously I've used the PI with wired ethernet but tried a the nano wireless USB dongle. Found it ok generally but not fast enough for XBMC HD media files. First tried a wireless nano off ebay which turned out to be useless. Needed to be used via a powered hub and was troublesome to get the drivers compiled and working. Just pay the additional for the nano USB wireless dongle from PI Hut as it's much better and has driver support pre-built into the raspbian image but note it may be too slow for XBMC use.

Really nice. I already have a model B, which I bought when the Pi first came out. The two extra USB ports are very useful. Also, removing the (probably) little used composite video socket has made space for a full 40 pin GPIO header. The memory card is now microSD and is push-push fit, making it easier to remove. Having said that, I was a bit miffed to receive it on the day the Pi2 was announced, as I wold have bought that if I had known. I still will buy it though.

Not yet fully tested, but fits in a case perfectly, heat sink fitted; and am now gathering cables, and break - out parts for a full testing session (s)
