“This is just a brilliant little kit. Just right for beginners like me and a must have for Christmas.
It took 30 mins to solder all the components and 10 mins to program.
I am now running this on a Pi Zero, Headless and automatically running the script from boot.”

“I ordered I'm from Austria and ordered the presoldered tree. Yesterday it came and i managed to get it out of the baseplate.
As i assembled it, i recognized that the connectors from the both sides are soldered in the wrong direction.
I could provide you a image if you want.”
“Like everyone else here, I love this little tree. Very simple to set up if you have a Pi with Rasbian Stretch installed. In case you haven't programmed on the Pi before: Simply cut and paste the example code from "Software" above into a file on your Pi. Name it something like "christmas.py", save it to e.g. /home/pi and run it with the command "python /home/pi/christmas.py". Your tree will start to twinkle at once. :)”
