Nice and small, does not interfere with HATs if they have short components

Does the job well, was very easy to set up thanks to the guide given, and the module fits nicely within the FLIRC case (4B). Find it to be reasonably priced too - would happily buy more!

The unit arrived quickly. It was simple to install on my pi 3 and the code on the website was straightforward to enter and get the time set up.

Plug in, do a bit of sudo nano, non-networked Pi can remember the time after a power outage.

This is an awesome little bit of kit. However, most of the documentation online is out of date. The Raspberry Pi people have updated everything, & now all you need to do is to read /boot/overlays/README - then add a single line to /boot/config.txt as it's all done with Device Tree overlays now - nothing else needed. # Activate I2C and enable DS3231 RTC dtoverlay=i2c-rtc,ds3231 That's it.... No faffing around, reboot & you're laughing.

Easy to install and get going. Using the RTC module to keep good time on underground radio application, and pleased to find it has extremely good timekeeping, which is required for my application. Great unit that is much better acquired from a reputable UK store than from elsewhere - better value, too!
