“I’ve used the watch for 7 rounds of golf. I like the ability of tracking my shots and keeping score without needing my phone in my pockets. I’m not an everyday watch wearer and didn’t want the price of a super watch (garmin/apple/etc) for the price while on sale with sensors I couldn’t pass the V5 up. I’m still trying to figure out all of the settings, but so far it does what I need.”

“The V5 is my second watch having used the X5 for a couple years until it died. Unwilling to lose all the accumulated data I'm sticking with Shot Scope for one more round. It works pretty well although the ability to detect each shot is just as bad as the X5 making editing the round essential. Overall I like the watch and the yardages are pretty good on the courses I play.”

“I have been using the Shot Scope watches for several years now, I currently have been using the the V5 for the past year and just purchased a watch for my wife. The convience of being able to get yardages in an instant and then being able to track your shots is awesome. I have reduced my handicap by several strokes this year by understanding the data that it tracks. Hoping that it helps my wife also. Love the product, ease of set up and the fact that there is no additional fees after the initial purchase.”

“The watch is easy to use and measures distances sufficiently well. However, the brightness of the display cannot be adjusted. For me, the display is much too dark and therefore not usable. The sensors fit most clubs without any problems. But not on my driver from Cleveland, because it is a bit rounded at the handle. All in all, a good package, but it is not the right one for me due to the display that is not sufficient for me.”

“So far I like it I just wish was an easier way to not include shots. I use a lot of hybrids around green and don’t like those being included in yardages for shots.”
