“Had the V3 which worked well for 5 years. Went to the V5. Very happy with it. Easy to use and easy to edit in the dashboard after a round. Shotscope are a great company to deal with and Andy has been very responsive with one or two queries I had. 10 out of 10”

“Very accurate in terms of yardage. The editing is very fiddly. I’ve yet to have a round where it’s recorded all my shots as per my round. Still only a dozen rounds in so that will come. Adding a penalty drop is very challenging. Also, I can’t remember how to find hazards easily. You’d think it would be a one or two button press but wasn’t available to me yesterday. The stats are very handy and I love how it takes out mis-hits so you can understand your average very quickly. Overall, I’m pretty happy with it.”

“Recently bought the V5 GPS watch and have so far used it a handful of times out on the course. So far it has been absolutely fantastic. The GPS function is very good and when you link it in with the tracking of the clubs, it works very well! I’ve only had a few issues where is doesn’t count my shots correctly, however I believe this may actually be user error! However, a few clicks of the buttons to alter the score, and it’s back to the game!”

“I have had the watch now for a couple months. It works great on the course, the score tracking is a cool feature and the stats it collects allow you to really focus on areas of your game that need improvement. For the price this is a great value.”

“I used to have the V3 for the past three years but it stopped capturing my data and was only giving me yardages on the course. I ordered the V5 to replace it and I am very happy to have my stats back. I now know my yardages for my newly bought Ping G440 graphite irons. My handicap has dropped ten shots in the past three years and I am still improving at an age of 63.”

“The V5 is great functions as you would expect. Took 2 rounds to get used to the navigation so very short leaning curve. 2 things would make the watch even better. A quick tone or vibration when a new club has been recognize and some kind of similar indicator when a swing is logged. That was I am not having to look at the watch to confirm either. Second would be a manual putting stroke log or ability in auto tracking. The putts aren’t always recognized like due to such a general swing. If I could stand over the ball and confirm location with a button press that would be ideal and it an ability to recognize a “gimmie” stoke would be helpful too. Overall minor improvements the watch is great and I am very happy with the purchase.”

“Great watch. Gps is fantastic. Yardage is pretty accurate. Great battery life. Guaranteed 2 rounds on a full charge. Software is a bit slow, but it is what it is. For the price and having no subscription, this is a must buy. Highly recommend”
