“I had the V3 until the screen no longer worked after 2 years and 200+ rounds. I thought the V3 had the perfect amount of features except it didn’t have a step counter. The V5 design is more stylish and slightly more comfortable. The size is about the same as V3, which was perfect for me. I love the step counter so I don’t need to carry my phone to get that count and enter is manually in my phone. I don’t get the hole maps and the green views. Not sure why anyone would spend the time to manually move the pin around in their watch. If this is important for some users, why do it thru the phone app where is can be more easily done (maybe before the round if pin sheets are available) and then integrate with the watch. Seems like a waste of energy especially given the hole maps are on the app and much easier to read. Instead, I would prefer having the range finder integrated with the watch so that when I get the flag distance, the distance to the hole can be reflected on the watch and, the pin location can be set. No more needing to use the pin collect feature. Garmin does this and it looks amazing. Selling an integrated solution would get customers to buy the watch and range finder. Overall, I think shotscope is still the best value for GPS watches with shot tracking.”

“Used my V5 on the course and I can honestly say it boosted my confidence on each shot. It gives you a better idea of where on the hole you really are. It’s unobtrusive and intuitive, and combined with the tags that provide absolutely fantastic stats, its the complete package.”

“I upgraded from the V3 to the V5 due to the increased number of features and after researching the other watches on the market. The V5 is easy to use, the tags in the clubs are more sensitive and the extra features really make a difference. My handicap, which had been static, has come down by 3.1 in a short matter of weeks. I should point out that I am still in the beginner stages of golf and some lessons have also made an impact. Love the watch, looks great, counts my steps, great data and the scorecard is so helpful. Would happily recommend to golfers on any handicap.”

“I've used the V5 for three rounds so far and find it a great improvement on the V3. The scorecard addition works very well as it can be adjusted during play. There have been a few missed shots but usually due to user error. These can be corrected during edit. Highly recommended golf watch and outstanding customer support.”

“Just took order of my early birthday present, the V5 watch. What an amazing piece of tech. First round Sunday and have salivated over the data and stats. All but three shots were perfectly recorded, and the errors were easily edited when home on the dashboard. Error as it turns out was a faulty 5i sensor - quick email to the Shot Scope team, who responded within 24 hours, offered an approach to test the tag and once confirmed faulty, just sending a new one. Great equipment, and first rate service. Could not be happier. Thank you”
