“So far I like it I just wish was an easier way to not include shots. I use a lot of hybrids around green and don’t like those being included in yardages for shots.”

“I haven’t had played more than 9 holes yet and not sure winter is the best time to be collecting stats, playing off winter tees and green, but I’m sure it will help me improve my game next season”

“The watch loads courses quickly and have many options in viewing the golf hole with hazards, distance to marks and pin placement. I really like shot tracking feature and the information it provides. On the negative side, takes a significant amount of use to figure out changing holes, changing scores etc. With the shot tracking: must remember to link club with watch before hitting the ball. Once the round is downloaded editing the round and shots takes some practice. Love no subscription for shot tracking.”

“I support Shotscope's honest business model, with no upselling or subscriptions. Originally, I wanted a H4 (cheapest), but V5 appears to be more convenient and this is true. The setup, charging and updating is easy and fast. Better than my smart watch of another brand. I have only used the V5 for one round and even though I blundered in the operation, it is good, the tactile physical buttons and long battery life are great. There's no slope adjustment for the distances, but that's fine, that being the least of my concern. V5 provides the essentials at a friendly price, I particularly like the automatic shot-tracking, pin-collect, and general usage flow.”

“The V5 is a no frills golf watch. I previously owned a Garmin S62 which is a fantastic watch but the interface is lacking and who wants to pay for subscriptions. This is a budget-friendly, no-subscription golf GPS watch that also gives you meaningful shot-tracking data. One of the unsung hero features is that during a tracking round it displays the time on the watch face. That DIDNT happen on my S62. The only knock i have is that the buckle attaches seemingly backwards. I get that it has to do with the NFC/RFID of the connex tracking devices but it would have been PERFECT if they found a way to reverse that. That being said, the APP interface is great and very useful. Look forward to my future rounds with it !”

“It's not recording my shots as well as my V3. I almost went back to my V3 but last two rounds have been better it only missed about 3 shots and I haven't been able to get my putter sensor to screw onto my putter seems like the oydessy lab shafts have some sort of plug for weight in the top not allowing sensor to thread in . I contact glued it to my putter today will try tomorrow, but to be honest I can never remember to stand next to hole and record putting strokes after getting ball in the hole”
