“I find the V3 is faster getting the watch to syn with GPS to start golfing from the moment of the first touch of the V5. The V5 has just a little too many steps to start the round of golf. Also if starting golf from the 10th Tee, it is required to re-set to 1st hole after finishing the 18th hole. It will be good if the watch will automatically go to the 1st hole if starting to play from the 10th hole first.”

“This watch is very good. All features are easy to follow. Battery life excellent. Charge it after every two rounds but could possibly get away with a third. Super job.”

“My second Shot Scope watch now, the antenna broke on my old one. The V5 has extra features as the course layout display which you only get on more expensive versions of competitors. The strategy software in the app is addictive, I use it for every tournament now. The support is great, the Sales could improve asmy order first got lost in the administration. Delivery was fast once the order was found. Great buy!”

“For it price, the V5 is a very complete golfwatch. The time to connect with gps and to find the golfcourse is quite long and operating it with the small knobs is not very easy, but ot does a very fine job once it has found the sattelites.”

“The V5 watch is great, easy to use with an intuitive interface. One downside is that you literally have to remember to tap the sensor on your club against the watch band before EVERY shot to make sure it recognizes the correct club; I have tried moving the watch further down on my wrist, but it still works only intermittently, so you really need to tap on the band. If you tap on one shot but then forget to do so on your next one, it will not find your second club, and assumes you made just one shot covering the entire distance of the two. Same story if you use the same club on consecutive shots - it will assume that you made just one shot covering the entire distance of the two. Hopefully they will figure out a way to fix this problem, which happens frequently and really messes up the shot tracking.”

“Good overall watch, however in GPS mode only cannot save round data (2 rounds of data lost), at end of round it shows score but then round is not saved to history, ability to do this would make it 5 stars. with tags I belive this is fine but not tried yet as waiting for new clubs before using tags. this would also be case if overseas and renting clubs.”
