“I’ve been using Shot Scope for quite some time as a single-digit handicap golfer, and while I really appreciate the concept, I’m becoming increasingly frustrated with the execution. The biggest issue is shot tracking. The system regularly misses shots or assigns the wrong club, which means I have to spend too much time editing every round afterwards. Unfortunately, the editing process itself isn’t very intuitive, so correcting a round becomes a chore rather than something you do in a few minutes. As someone who enjoys analysing my performance, I know that accurate data is everything. When shots are missing or misplaced, the strokes gained statistics become much less valuable because they’re based on incomplete information. On the positive side, the platform offers excellent statistics without requiring an annual subscription, which is a major advantage compared with competitors. The GPS distances are good, and the insights can genuinely help you improve your game—provided the underlying data is accurate. I really hope Shot Scope continues to invest in improving automatic shot detection and making the round editor faster and more user-friendly. If those two areas improve, it would be one of the best golf performance platforms on the market. Overall, I love the idea and appreciate the subscription-free model, but the reliability of shot detection and the post-round editing experience still need significant improvement.”

“Received my V5 within a watch. Initially had issues searching for the course where I played at. Wrote in to shot Scope. Jaime was prompt to response, updated the course where I am a member at and it worked fine the next day. Besides having a good product, I think the after sales / customer service needs to be good too. Shot Scope definitely gets a 5 star here. Thanks Jamie!”

“Cette montre est presque parfaite, cependant si vous ne prenez pas soin d'approcher votre bout de bâton quasi collé à votre montre avant de frapper votre balle, il lui arrive régulièrement de ne pas identifier votre bâton et d'omettre de compter votre coup. Enfin, devoir se rendre au drapeau pour le localiser afin qu'elle compte les coups roulés est fastidieux, aussi je ne l'ai pas installé sur mon putter, et je les ajoute manuellement. Parfois elle manque de précision à notre arrivée au vert et quand nous sommes assez prêts, elle se convertit au putting, alors qu'on a encore un chip à exécuter, il nous faut donc ajuster manuellement nos coups. Malgré tout je l'apprécie beaucoup.”

“I was previously using golfpad paid app for my rounds and it was so inconsistent with the gps locating i had to ditch it and went for the V5.. It has been faultless and the information needed on the course is right there at your fingertips.. easy to navigate menus and 100% works every time no issues at all... also the information you can get when you get home on your round and the stats of your game overall is second to none... So happy I went for the V5.. I can enjoy my golf again knowing the watch is going to work all the time every time...”
