“We purchased this off road buggy for my wee boys birthday, within an hour of play the shell cracked. The buggy had rolled over during operation. CS not willing to help. Do not this this shell is fit for purpose on such a high speed buggy. Very disappointed in quality of product and service. Not a cheap item”
“My son bought this car with his birthday money, he loves the car but was gutted after the first run out the body shell had a crack in it. After a few more runs the shell has got worse and worse, with no replacements to be found.
For a car that is aimed at beginners I would have thought the shell would be more robust or at least have replacement shells available.”
“We purchased this buggy for my sons birthday after careful research based on the reviews. Within an hour of using the buggy the shell casing has cracked. It’s cheap and flimsy and not fit for the purpose of an off road car of this speed and cost. We contacted CS who advised there was nothing they could do to help as damaged in use. So very disappointed, not a cheap purchased and we have a very disappointed young boy now. Would not recommend this product and definitely won’t be be purchasing from the company in future.”
“Bought this for my 8 yr old son, thinking it would be better quality as the price would indicate. The cabin is very flimsy. After the first test out my son steered it up a small ramp, it fell to one side and cracked! We tried to repair the split but unfortuneately made it worse and it all cracked up. Customer service won't replace or refund which is highly disappoitning considering the it's advertised as- the Tracer is fast and nimble....perfect for bashing, jumping and more! Not really suitable for what it says on the tin. I'd steer clear.”
“Good to start with, fun and fast for the price. After 3 days use the differential assembly broke and no spare parts available. No spare battery available, battery lasts about an hour and takes 3 hours to charge. Overall a disappointing purchase.”
“Bought this as present for 8 year old grandsons birthday. The excitement was dampened when after its first trip across the lawn it turned over and on picking it up we found a jaggered hole in the bonnet. Whilst the chassis and wheels seem to be build to withstand normal impacts the red bodywork is made of very brittle plastic. When I raised this with the company and sent them a photo the reply was “Unfortunately these toy grade cars are liable to breaking as they are made of plastic” It didn’t say that in the product description!!”
“I have purchased this product a week ago. As a beginner I was happy with the speed and power, it is easy to use and fun to drive. Despite that, the provided battery is extremely small, I got max 10 mins of use. Moreover, as a beginner I broke the bumper so I ordered a replacement for that part.
Since then, I have been using the rc car with more care (no jumps, not hits, just flat fields) and for some reason the plastic parts are starting to break down one by one. It feels like it has been stored in non ideal conditions that now make the plastic parts to break down easily with even regular use.
This is not a durable product at all, just a plastic toy. Seems like they put a motor on a plastic toy aimed for children. For 125 pounds I would expect something that could endure regular use. The fixing costs are adding up quite fast. Extremely disappointed !! Would not recommend.”
