“Body doesn't survive a single impact. A few months since we started using it, one of the drive shafts broke meaning it is now only 2 wheel drive so won't go on grass. Despite the box containing schematics of the whole vehicle, there is no way to buy the spare parts either through the supplier or by going back to the manufacturer (who just ignore your email). Very poor for the price paid; perhaps this is why it is now available on Amazon for 40% less than I paid for it.”
“It ran well for 2 days, I’m a novice so wasn’t hammering it and it just stopped with a clicking noise, upon investigation the pinion had took three chunks out of the gear.”
“Straight off I loved this car, probably more than my 6 year old son who it was bought for. It’s really responsive and really fast (the ability to trim down the throttle is great for kids to be able to control the car).
We managed to get about an hour out of it before two of the driveshafts broke. Parts for this car are hard to find but after an extensive search I found that the kyamrc 1898a parts from banggood do the job. After a 4 week wait, the driveshafts arrived from China and were popped straight onto the car. Then 10 minutes later a steering cup broke. Another 4 week wait for replacement parts. They were on the car for 15 minutes when the steering servo broke. Now we’re in the middle of another long wait for replacement parts.
So all in all we’ve had less than 2 hours running time in 3 months. Car is brilliant when it works but just isn’t robust enough and the inaccessibility to spare parts doesn’t help.”
“Good buggy and fun to drive but there is a couple of down sides, like some other reviews the shell is very brittle and shattered within the first 2 days and second is I can’t find spares anywhere, I have resorted to retro fit a different shell to fit.”
