“I placed the order and never received confirmation. It never arrived and I sent numerous messages and emails and tried calling the number many times each day. No response to any!! Luckily it arrived on the day of my daughters birthday but still not a single response.
With regards to the truck. It looks really good but poor design that you have to remove the body to turn it on and off and it feels like the cover might easily break. Wish I had opted for a different one but thought there was no point going through the exchange process as doubt I'd get a response.
Such a shame as I have used the company before and it was amazing. Feel that something has changed.”
“I bought this for my sons Bday. The truck looks the part but it hasn’t operated to its full potential on the first few charges. I tried to contact RC Geeks which hasn’t proved easy. I now just bought a new more powerful battery pack and hope that solves the issue.”
“Good value for the price. Unfortunately there is no speed control just on/off. Worked well for 4 or 5 sessions in the park before the suspension broke off at the axle, it wasn’t used in extreme conditions. This isn’t covered under warranty and not able to repair.”

“The car was bought as a Christmas present for my 8 Yr old daughter. It broke on boxing day having been used only twice. I understand that things break but the crux is how the retailer deals with it. The answer here is RC Geeks dealt with itquite frankly abysmally. It took them over 5 weeks to finally sort the situation, only after I had to contact trading standards. I'm not sure if it's arrogance, ignorance or lack of proper training that causes it, but suffice it to say that I won't be buying from them again. Check the wee video this review page let me upload - RC Geeks told me it looked like it was working OK! It's maybe me being a nieve numpty, but I was under the impression that an RC car drove forwards........ I've already bought another hobby grade rc car from another retailer. If you read this Laurel, giving the customer what you agreed to give them is NOT a 'gesture of goodwill'! I dare say most folk would have an OK experience with this retailer so long as they receive an item that works, but if it doesn't work then from my personal experience you're totally onto plums. And going by the sheer amount of returns they evidently had after Christmas (by their own admission by way of one of their many excuses) if I was a new customer thinking of purchasing, I'd definitely have another look at other retailers. Finally, the £5 off my next purchase for writing a review - I'll pass thanks.”
“So I have had a few cars over the years both nitro and battery. This car although great fun at a decent price is by far the worst built car I have had. I have taken this car out 4 times since Christmas and already The spoiler has snapped off, the rear prop shaft has burst out of the housing, I have had to replace the body shell and the rear diff housing has snapped where the suspension mount attaches. All this from minor dings on the field. My advice would be to avoid this particular model and always research before purchasing. On a lighter note RC Geeks have been great with all my purchases so far and I would definately use them again”
“On the first couple of minutes it was amazing brilliant but after about 10 minutes the whole car just stopped and if you tried to accelerate the wheels were just jammed meaning I couldn’t use it.”
