Would you like to add any more feedback about your stay? There are plenty of walks around the hotel itself, and it is only about fifteen minutes by car to Saltburn where there are wide, dog-friendly beaches.

“I was tempted not to write a review to keep this place secret! It's a wonderful inn in a terrific location. The staff are friendly, welcoming and very professional. We had an excellent break in a very comfortable room, with plenty of space for both of us and our dog. Food, at breakfast and lunch, was well well prepared and delicious.”

“Great night away with our two frenches. Made to feel very welcome from arriving! Great food, atmosphere a lovely room abs woodland walk near by. Would definitely return.”

“I booked a little retreat away for my wife's birthday and took out 2 dogs too, Teddy and Maisie. We were greeted with friendly staff upon arrival and through out our stay. Our room was lovely as was the Kings Head itself. The food and drink was very good and our dogs got treated to a nice afternoon, after our long walk. Would highly reccommend and would stay again. Thanks Paul & Annalie”

“Warm welcome form all the staff,Bella our dog was spoilt,the rooms were very clean,but unfortunately our room number 1 was very small! We ate there both nights and found the food was excellent,Ideal for walking dog as the walks were on the doorstep,”

Would you like to add any more feedback about your stay? Maybe the evening menu & quality could be looked at? As it was just ok & would we eat an evening meal there again., possibly not?

“What can I say, we will be back & so will our friends & family with there furry friends. We really enjoyed our short stay @ The Kings Head Inn, the staff very friendly & helpful. The hotel it’s self very nicely kept gardens & very nice hotel. Our room was lovely, with character & a view through one of the small windows. The room was very clean & everything you would need provided, even a fan as the weather was so very hot! Our 7month old puppy had bed time bones/ treats, a nice touch. Our breakfast set us up for the day & Ted loved his breaks from you a sausage. The only negative for us was the evening meal, it was ok just a basic fast food menu. I would like to mention Oscar who was so lovely, professional, helpful & was lovely with Ted. We had a lovely chat with Oscar, who told us about all the other PetPyjamas Hotels. Ideal for dogs, you have the most amazing walk right behind the hotel your dog & you would love. If your thinking about booking this hotel, then I would say book. See you again later in the year Oscar & all at The Kings Head. Thank you.”

“This is a beautiful place with great walks straight from the front door. The staff were all delightful and most welcoming of us and our dog. Good food menu and as dog friendly as you could wish for. This was our first stay away with our young dog due to covid and she was quite anxious. The room was very warm because of the weather and twice she went to sleep at night only to be woken after midnight due to other guests banging the front door and walking around upstairs. It's just one of those things in shared hotel accommodation but this left her really on edge and unsettled so we reluctantly had to leave early. Not great with or without a dog but no reflection at all on the hotel who offered everything we could have wished. A learning curve for us in getting her more used to the outside world. Would definitely recommend it to anyone with a dog that is used to being away and wanting beautiful walks in an outstanding location.”
