“Lovely friendly staff Excellent service and so… good with the dogs. Only issue was lack of wifi and phone service, but it was a nice change we had peace and quiet”

“This Inn was fabulous the Staff were great nothing was a bother to them and so friendly. Food was great and service was 100% The rooms were spotless and lovely decorated. Good location for Whitby, Scarborough, Saltburn and many other places. Will definitely be back for another short break. Very dog friendly with walks on the doorstep ❤️”

“Great clean pub and warm welcome - great value food however if your planning to work while away be aware there is no phone / internet or Wi-Fi signal. At all ! Might be a blessing to some but you need to know”

“Great little pub with an amazing view of Roesbury Topping. We (me and my dog) received a warm welcome and immediately felt at home. The staff were always on hand and very helpful when required - nothing was too much trouble. An early morning walk with your dog to the top of Roesbury Topping is well worth it. Evening meals and breakfast were really good (even the dog got a sausage at breakfast!!), with plenty of space for your dogs to sit beside you. I will certainly be going back again.”

Would you like to add any more feedback about your stay? Pricey but then again mid August so the value for money question is a tough call

“Clean Pleasant and Dog friendly, the staff where very sweet and the whole experience was efficient. Room was very nice too. It’s clearly very busy and popular, quite modern in setup so not so much old world charm but that’s an observation rather than a criticism. The location just begs for a jaunt up Roseberry Topping followed by a pale ale of the same name. Nice place we’d go again”

“Lovely stay at The Kings Head 13/8-16/8. The food was really good, the room was a good size and very clean. Staff were very friendly. Thanks to Nikki and all of her staff Would definately stay again”

“We were made so welcome at The Kings Head Inn, and will definitely return. Nicky and her staff are so pleasant and have time for our four-legged friends, even housekeeping pass the time of day with a pleasant 'good morning' and a 'he's so well behaved', they loved the dog 'Freddy' too :). We genuinely thought that the Inn and rooms had recently been decorated, but no it's due for a refit. Testament to the staffs hard work and care.”

“We were there for 3 days. Everything was immaculate. Nicki and her staff were excellent, very welcoming, very professional. Our 2 dogs, especially Konnie, were made to feel very special. At the time, they were sorting out their WiFi and 3G was limited so we had no communication whilst there. But I have to say, that was a good thing and were happy not to have that distraction. We will be back - great Inn!”
