“Warm & friendly staff, lovely food & accommodation. Our dog was very welcome and even had a little treat of sleepy bones left for her. Amazing area for walking. What more could you ask for? We will definitely be returning.”

Would you like to add any more feedback about your stay? The place itself is good just let down by the food.

“My wife, myself and our two dogs spent a couple of nights at the Kings Head Inn. On arrival, plenty of car parking situated behind the pub (Dog bin in car park). The accommodation itself is in a separate building next door. All decor is if high quality and fresh. Some of the staff are friendly and helpful. The room itself had everything you need including dog bowl and treats. One minor point, the roof sloped on both sides with four poster bed in the middle. The room was on the smaller side which would have been fine if just the two of us. We ate in the pub on the first evening. The food quality isn’t in keeping with its surroundings. The meals were poor and didn’t represent value for money. This was also the same for breakfast which is such a shame. Great walks for the dogs from the Kings Head Inn.”

“We are just back from a lovely weekend in North Yorkshire. We stayed at The Kings Head Inn. It was very good. Lovely staff, clean rooms and good food and drinks. Great for walks from your doorstep or a short drive to the coast. I would recommend a stay there.”

“Two night stay Rooms were good and well serviced We had two rooms one which I found a little small to have had a dog in so when booking check rooms available as there are some good sized ones. Bottled water would be a good idea in the rooms. The food and drink at the Kings head was very good and value for money. Breakfast was excellent with plenty of choice. This hotel is in a good area for walking and only 15minutes from cost . I would like to add that the staff were very friendly and helpful.”

“Warm friendly welcome for us and our two dogs Abbey and Sasha Great room well equipped with everything we needed Breakfast really good and dog sausage each for Abbey and Sasha We had an evening meal in the bar on the first night of our three night stay it was SO good we ate there every evening with our dogs. As for the staff without exception they were friendly and helpful. Will definitely return and try some of the other Inns on their list.”

“Beautiful setting and real potential BUT no towels in the bedroom; no welcome treat for our dog; most disappointing however was the lack of consideration for vegan. I had notified them of my dietary requirements and the menu was poor. 1 of the 2 vegan options was not available as they had run out for lunch and tea and they had no vegan sausages as stated on the menu, for breakfast. They did provide oat milk, but not in the room so I had black tea and no biscuits, which were also not vegan.”

“We enjoyed our stay in the ground floor double room, and Lenny enjoyed his treats, and sleeping on his blanket! The staff were friendly and helpful.”
