High polished chrome covers for the style bars on the Mk3, 3.5 & 3.75. Supplied as a pair, these are a perfect fit and are very easy to install.Fits all convertible and retractable hardtop Mk3, 3.5 & 3.75 models, 2005>2015Fitting Tip: As the product name implies, these are covers. They are not replacement trims. We have designed them this way because the Mazda supplied replacement trims really are hard work to fit. They are a very tight fit over the top of your existing trims. As with anything self adhesive, preparation is very important. You must make sure that the surface of the original covers is completely free from silicone trim cleaner or any form of polish. Use surgical spirit or the like to clean the area first. Then make sure that both the new cover and the original are both at a temperature of at least 20 degrees C, the warmer the better as heat activates the adhesive. The 3Ms tape supplied is designed for this exact job, and if applied correctly is almost impossible to remove! A further fitting tip is that once the covers are applied to car, cable tie them around the hoops in two or three places and leave overnight. This will give the adhesive time to cure properly.

If you only buy one chrome upgrade, for me personally, this is the one. My car is Galaxy Grey and they look amazing. Really lift the look of the car when the lid is down. So much brighter and so easy to clean. I fitted on a hot day. Very simple job. No glue required, just the strips provided which are sufficient. Start by aligning the top edge and work downward with the pressure. I pulled it tight with three cable ties overnight (kitchen roll underneath to prevent marking the chrome.) The fix is very solid. When you compare what you get in plastic chrome per pound, these are cheap. Highly recommended.

Nice addition to my grey 2007 NC hardtop and took about 10mins to fit. I added a few dabs of gorilla glue to the 3M adhesive strips just to be sure they will stay in place. Slightly awkward fitting them with a retractable top, have to get it just in the right place otherwise you wonÆt get these on. Also being a bit dense (or at least uninitiated) I thought these came as a front and back piece for each seat - but there is just two so IÆve stuck them on the back of each seat rather than the front, hope thatÆs right æcause theyÆre not now coming off without a fight!

Firstly the service was excellent, delivered next day, which wasnÆt expected at all! I followed some of the reviews, cleaning and preparing the bars in preparation for fitting, I also applied more tape in areas where none was applied directly on to the covers. The covers were easy to fit and went on straight away (once I had half dropped the roof) applying pressure and then cable ties over night to help the bonding process. I have to say they look brilliant on and have made a massive difference to my NCÆs appearance and I would definitely recommend. The only down side is the price, which when you include P&P, itÆs not far off ú60 for what is actually just two pieces of plastic with a chrome effect finish!

Great roll bar covers , as with other reviews I decided to use gorilla glue as the 3M stickers didnÆt look that reliable. After applying i held them together over night with cable ties , weather has been hot so think that helped also, took ties off and these things arenÆt moving. Would highly recommend they look great.

Ordered these with the vent rings, heater rings and dashboard rings with the intention of lifting the interior and what a difference. Granted, taste is subjective but personally, that level of chrome brings everything to life and any more would be unnecessary, bordering on tacky. So a word about fitting; after reading mixed reviews I decided to forget about the tape supplied and use sticky double sided pads, the sort you get from an office supplies store. I covered the inside with lots of the little pads and pressed the covers home, Hey presto! Works a treat and going they are not moving at all. I was a little worried that the extra thickness of the pads would affect the fit and make the cover sit a little ‘proud’, but they are a nice snug fit. Hope that helps!

I have just fitted these bar covers and they have transformed the look of my car. I followed the fitting advice on this site and they have stuck on fine. the only thing i noticed on my pair is that on the insides there some moulding sprues that stuck out proud of the fixing tape, that might account for some people having problems getting them to stick, i just carefully trimed the sprues off with a knife and they stuck perfectly.

These really enhance the look of the car. They are easy enough to fit, taking care to have them correctly positioned before getting the adhesive strips in contact with the original coverings, then squeeze them on well and hold in place with cable ties. I fitted mine one afternoon during the recent heat wave and they were well and truly stuck when the ties were removed the next morning. As usual, great service from MX5 Parts.
