High polished chrome covers for the style bars on the Mk3, 3.5 & 3.75. Supplied as a pair, these are a perfect fit and are very easy to install.Fits all convertible and retractable hardtop Mk3, 3.5 & 3.75 models, 2005>2015Fitting Tip: As the product name implies, these are covers. They are not replacement trims. We have designed them this way because the Mazda supplied replacement trims really are hard work to fit. They are a very tight fit over the top of your existing trims. As with anything self adhesive, preparation is very important. You must make sure that the surface of the original covers is completely free from silicone trim cleaner or any form of polish. Use surgical spirit or the like to clean the area first. Then make sure that both the new cover and the original are both at a temperature of at least 20 degrees C, the warmer the better as heat activates the adhesive. The 3Ms tape supplied is designed for this exact job, and if applied correctly is almost impossible to remove! A further fitting tip is that once the covers are applied to car, cable tie them around the hoops in two or three places and leave overnight. This will give the adhesive time to cure properly.

“Bought a set of these for my 5 before I collected it and fitted straight away. Adds some needed shine to the standard black plastic bars and looks so much better. Easy to fit, no chance of them coming off. We used some cable ties for a few hours to strap them on well while sticking to ensure they wouldn't go anywhere. Just make sure you can cut the cable ties off easily after to as not to damage them or the black bits.”

“have fitted them to a silver mk3 and they look really good. easy to fit, my tip is to read other reviews for potential problems and follow the instructions eg; wipe with surgical spirit and stick whilst the interior of the car is 20 degrees or more. arrived within a couple of days and with the hood down they look great. thought p&p was expensive at over £7.”

“You should note that the original chrome mazda covers are not difficult to fit (and I am not sure why mx5 parts say they are) - they take less than 5 minutes and are very very simple (all you need is a srewdriver and a pair of hands)! Obviously the mazda part is more expensive though. Note - also on the coupe, the mechanism on the roof has very tight clearances to the roll bar covers and so a cover over a cover? Its obviously your choice whether you buy the orginal or these cheaper parts.”

“Received item sadly was sent two left hand units received replacement alcohol wipe supplied not effective and both covers became unstuck after a month need scotch tape now and mx5 parts sadly does not sell if you manage to get these covers to stay on they look great a little bit pricey for what they are made off”
