Bar ordered 3pm Thursday arrived 10am Friday - excellent service. Easy to fit in 45 mins, but there were two stainless tube spacers which I could not find a use for! Also two set screws which need large SS washers for them to be any use as the heads go through the slots on the bar. For almost £150 I would have expected everything needed to be there and I should not have needed to go to B&Q to get some, so 4 stars only! Looks great on the car though.

Quick international delivery at a reasonable cost!!! The bars are beautyful, but a bit tricky to fix. You need to take off the metal seatbel supports, and use the spacers to raise back the seatbelt rings into their original position. When the bars are properly fixed, the hood cover bolts are aligned with the flanges on the bars. It would be useful to have two longer bolts though...The bars make it more difficult to raise and lower the hood, but the look is great and the wind-blocker is effective.A very good product!!!

Nice blocker, the pipes are not as massive as others but price-quality is OK. Forget the installation instructions, they're rubbish. Just unbold the seat belt, remove the spacers and washers and install the bar. Then rebold the seatbelt and finished. The complementary screen in the middle is not my taste, it looks better without it. Again, good value for money!

Delivery fast (as usual), great deal (compared to other suppliers). Looks absolutely stunning. Fitting was quite easy with the instructions. Result: happy girlfriend.

I recently splashed out and bought myself one of these style bars for my '97 MK1. I live in the Netherlands and ordered Sunday pm and goods turned up Thursday pm which was pretty impressive. I was also able to very easily track my package all the way via the link sent with the order confirmation E mail. When I opened the box one of the plastic windblocker straps was broken and one of the rubber spacers was missing but a very quick reply back from MX-5 Parts has organised a replacement.Like some of the other comments the instructions are a wee bit confusing in some places and my arrangement of washers and spacers was a bit different to that shown. It does say that so just be aware. I used a 16mm socket for the tower bolt (it was a wee bit fiddly) and a 10mm socket for the tonneau stud and this worked fine. Once fitted the bar looks great and I would recommend this if you are looking for some extra chrome in the back half of the car. I should also mention that the fit is not 100%, and there is a gap of around 1/8 inch between the side supports (where the tonneau stud goes through) and the side of the seat belt tower. I added a few flat washers to prevent just bending the steel and to be honest this looks OK. Not sure what the impact of this will be on the cover itself, so will just have to wait and see. If it hadn't been for the fit and one or two minor marks on the chrome I would of given it 5 stars and I might just be a bit picky!! Looks great though...
