“Bought this product some time ago. delivered with usual excellent service. Did not fit it because I was getting a new roof fitted on a mk1 and was trying to find a mk2 frame for a better end result.Hood on now and fitted bar last week end. No real problems fitting as other reviews state, although needed lots of washers to pack out side fittings as they were at least 20mm each side away from the sides.Looks great on car but my problems is it does not allow my seat to recline fully as advertised, the headrest jams in the hoops.The main reason I bought this was for full seat back position as I am quite tall so this is a disapointment.”

“Ordered Sunday evening, arrived 10 days later - brilliant when you consider I live in Rangiora New Zealand! Excellent service, fist rate bar, and a perspex wind-blocker thrown in. Only criticism was the fitting instructions - best to bin them and use common sense. Really superb value, and boy does it look the part.”

“Purchased on special offer a few weeks ago but only just got around to fitting.Read the instructions thoroughly and could not make "head nor tail" of how it should be fitted!Threw the instructions away and looked at what I had before me and it didn't take a rocket scientist to work out how it fits, mind you for those who are not diy minded there should be much easier instructions so please take note MX5 parts.Forty minutes or so to fit and it really changes the look of the rear end of the car.Good product and usual quick delivery, thank-you.”

“Ordered this as a treat, usual excellent service from mx5 parts. After reading some of the reviews I was a bit worried about fitting it, but once I had found my tools etc (I hate sheds, they hide the things you really need!) I had it fitted in about 30 minutes.As mentioned somewhere else you just need to be careful when you refit the bolts, as it can be a bit fiddly.Makes the car look heaps better ;)All in all a great buy for the price.”

“Great service for an ex-pat living in Austria,delivery was fast and secure and cheaper by miles,compared to a well known German firm who actually make the thing!!!Dead easy to install and looks great,not too chunky or flimsy looking,just right-better than the T.T. bars-matter of opinion I guess-the photos really don't do the bar justice.Quick word of advice-remove the seat belt pillar caps carefully or you'll break the little clips that hold them in place!!!Better go and order some new seat belt pillar caps now!!!!!”

“The style bar is nice, and easy to fit if you ignore the instructions - they are there to baffle you. Would have been better if thre were two sets of info, one for the Mk 1 and a separate one for the Mk 2 instead of a very confusing mixture of the two. The windblocker was sent to the dustbin..absolutely useless. As I said first off, the style bar looks really nice though. Would have been disappointed if I'd paid the full price though.”
